How does it work? Would we all need the fastpass+ or could 3 of us have it then Me and my 4 year old who is not tall enough have a FP+ to do something else and then go and switch?

Currently we all including the 4 year old have FP+ for 40 inch rides she was right below when I made them and she has grown but I dunno if they will consider her right on the line or below so I am trying to get an idea of what I might need to do this trip. TIA!!!

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but I think it depends on how many adults you have and when you are going. Personally, I wouldn't bank on my kid growing enough to make FPs for the 40-inch+ rides. I would base all my FP choices based on the assumption she will not be tall enough. Then, for the rides that she can't go on, do the swap.

Last year, we went with my parents, and we all had the same FP+ options, but we realized it didn't seem neccessary, since they were just handing us the RiderSwap card and the second person didn't need to scan their MB. So technically, we could have done a FP+ for three of the adults and not the 4th, and then maybe do that 4th FP+ for another ride and swap with one adult. That said, I've heard rumors that that may have changed, so someone else can maybe speak to that.

I commented on another post earlier and added a few more thoughts there that may apply: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3326541

There are 5 of us all together 3 adults, an 11 year old, and the 4 year old.

I made her fastpasses for the rides because she was like a milimeter to short. She has grown that but is like right on the 40 inch mark now so depending on how they measure she may or may not make it. I just wont know until we arrive. If she does we will be super happy we have them if not I will change them.

I was mainly asking if they say no at the first 40 inch ride I will probably change all of them and take her off and maybe myself and have us fp+ something she would like.

I don't want to completely miss out tho and that was why I was asking if I needed one for those too or would the swap ticket just act like I did along with another in my party.

(Which you answered and clarified that you had heard it has possibly changed so I may ask a CM when we get there if she is too short.)

I just like to be prepared and have a plan for these times.

We do with with our kids all the time. You have to be present to get the rider swap ticket though. That's how we get the most out of our fastpass+.
