FastPass + Questions

Hello!

Can anyone explain FastPass + to me or point me to somewhere I can read up on it?

We are going in October. I ordered our MagicBands -- now I need to work on FastPass +. How can I find out what has that as an option? We are going with 3 different families and would love to all get the same fastpass times. I was told by the phone support that the best I could do was to all go on the computer at the same time to get them.

I just went in to explore -- I see that I can pick 3 options and then prioritize. Does that mean you don't necessarily get the ones you pick? I'm more confused now than before.

Thought I should ask the experts!

I was there last week and used the bands all week. I loved them. You need to get the My Disney Experience app if you have a smart phone. That is the best way to utilize the Fast Pass+. Ahead of time you reallly need to play around witht he times. You can select ones then go back in to change times and/or experiences. We traveled with another family but didn't always have our fast passes for the same time. The app is great because if your plans change durting the day you can just readjust your fastpasses. You get 3 a day but cannot do the same experience more than once. We were able to double dip the whole trip(use your KTTK cards to get regular paper fastpasses). It is easy but you do need to play around with the site so you are familiar with it before you get down there.
