So we were having some issues with customer service and our planning process with Disney so far.

I contacted a wonderful cast member who not only helped solve our issues but gave us an extra 2 FP/person/per day.

She didn't explain those other than saying that they don't need scheduled, and couldn't be used on select attractions. Does anyone have an experience with these/how they work?

You simply walk up to the FP entrance of an eligible attraction and you can immediately enter that FP line.

That's what I thought when she dxplaidnd it but was so confused because I assumed that wasn't allowed. Lol

Some are good for any ride in any park and some specify exclusions. You can find that info at the bottom of the FP in MDE.

One tip: when wanting to use a standard pre-booked FP+, when you also have active multi experience FPs: do not use the grace period (before or after). Within the grace periods it will use the multi experience FP rather than the prebooked one.

Thats awesome to know. So if our initial FP+ is for 3:15-4:15, arrive in that window? I was unaware there was a grace period at all ‍♀️

I believe she said ours didn't work on Pandora or Frozen (which makes total sense to me).

Yep, It's not advertised and up to CM discretion but the standard grace period is 5 mins before and 15 after.

But don't use the grace periods with anytime FPs. Because during those times the system will use the anytime FPs first.

I think it's a system thing, not a cast member decision because I've used it many times I never say anything to the CM we just scan our bands and it turns green on its own.

The anytime fast passes are great, but I wish they'd give them as paper fast passes because it's really easy to use one by accident. As long as you're within your fast pass window you should be fine, but I'd avoid the minutes closest to the beginning and end to be safe. The passes are usually excluded from the most popular rides like Pandora, Frozen, Seven Dwarfs..

Thank you both, this helps so much! She did not mention seven dwarfs to us, just Pandora, Frozen, and Rivers of Light.

Follow up question! Does it have to be in the same park as your initial three fastpasses?

I wasn't sure because they show assigned to one park right now! Thank you :)

Then they can only be used in that park. There are many types of multi-experience FPs, you have to follow whatever limitations (if any) are placed on them.

Ooh, that's good information. I didn't realize that.
