Fastpass+ question

My apologies if this is an obvious question that has been answered many times before.

A bunch of my family is going to WDW this fall. We're chunked out into Mom and Dad; Sis and two kids; Bro and his wife; and me, DH and DS. Each chunk has its own MagicBands and is staying at different resorts/rooms and has its own ADRs.

Here's the question: If Mom and Dad and Sis and her kids all want FastPasses for a given ride/park at the same time, is there an easy way to do this? Or should they just all make FP selections at the same time and be on the phone so they can coordinate?

Will that screw up any of our existing stuff like ADRs? I'm leery of linking MDE stuff (if something goes wrong with one account, won't they all get messed up?).
