Fastpass line being managed differently?

But honestly, didn't you ask him to remove them out of spite? Because you were irked that he did what he did? Or did you just discover today that those pics existed? If you did it out of spite, then I don't blame him. Why let you access all his information that he collects when obviously you want to cause him to go thru his pics and remove you?

How long were you aware of the photos on his site? Why did you chose today to ask him about it?

Please don't make such assumptions or begin to interrogate me about my motive. It was not out of spite at all - his post about a PICTURE triggered a memory that a PICTURE of my son was on his website from several years ago. When I went back to look for it today I found two PICTURES of my family on his website, at which point I emailed him and politely asked him to remove them.

"SPITE" is what I got in return.

No, it does not surprise me at all that the people who "hate easywdw" and "never visit that site" are the ones constantly clicking refresh. It's the Howard Stern effect.
I'm just one person, but I've never seen someone post here and say they hate easywdw. Not saying it didn't happen because I certainly don't read everything here or have a catalogued memory of even the stuff I do see, but I just don't see people disparaging the site.

I see ringing endorsements here all day long. No lie. The information, the posts, the methodology, the accuracy, the humor - I see it complimented here all day long.

I didn't make assumptions, I asked. But why ask today? If it was years ago, why didn't you ask then? And I'm not interrogating, I'm asking questions. I find it curious that today you would decide that it offends you to see public pictures that include you in them. If you don't want to be asked, it's certainly your right not to answer. But asking questions about what people say on an internet forum isn't interrogation.

I hope this thread does not get shut down. I would like to hear relevant comments regarding Fast Pass lines.
My own two cents (which is worth next to nothing I am sure) is that a person who has a business that is relevant to both Disney and the Internet information of Disney should not be engaging users in such a silly and unprofessionally confrontational manner. A quick check of previous posts bears out the fact that this is not a 'one off'. Quite frankly, I am shocked at the tone and manner in which this person is conducting himself. Cant be good for business in the long run - or maybe it will have no effect, but I must say, it really turns me off. Will I not use the site? No. But it changes the way I feel about the site, and possibly will effect on when and how I personally 'promote it' to my friends ( a small number of people to be sure - but these things have an exponential way of growing Sir......)
"I will read your free website, but with a stern scowl of disapproval throughout."

You and several others are utterly SKEWERING him. It's plain to see.

He never said it offended him, and he doesn't owe you answers. Where did you get your sheriff's badge, anyway?

People ask people questions all the time. He owes me nothing. If he doesn't care to answer, he doesn't have to. Please don't do what you're accusing me of. Thanks!

That's an odd response. No, I'm curious. But that's fine. If you don't want to answer, no problem. Just wondering what your reasons were.

I gave you my answer. Apparently it wasn't good enough.

Yes, this will be me. It's like how I think joss whedon is completely arrogant but still love watching the avengers.
I love all things Joss Whedon, but I didn't know he was arrogant, though! Interesting .....

Blech I can't stand how he whines about the amazing movie he has made. It just took so much from him blah blah. Now he needs to go make artsy movies blaaaah.

Please don't answer for me.

Quite honestly, I think it's probably best to end our exchange, I won't respond to you further on this.
I answered as an observer, and to me (though I'm just one person), the answer was fairly obvious.

As to the other, ok with me. I just don't like to see people being clobbered and it felt like that was what was happening. If it's ok to clobber somebody, then it's ok for me to say, "Hey, stop clobbering that guy." That's all.

I also was under the assumption that the pictures of Austintatious' family were recently posted, not posted years ago. It seems strange to ask them to be taken down now. I have nothing better to think and/or post about right now, so I'm curious, too.

As a fan and frequent reader of Easywdw, and also as a participant in those forums, I know there is a history of other bloggers stealing Josh's photos and passing them off as their own. I can see how he'd be touchy about the subject of his photos being taken. It seems to me like a lot of work to download someone's photo from their blog, then upload it to your Photobucket account, and then link to your Photobucket account rather than hotlinking right to the source material. It suggests, to me, that someone might be planning on misappropriating the picture for other uses later. I guess being a lawyer, and also the wife of an IP lawyer in particular, I get the sensitivity regarding the subject. However, it could also be that lugnut simply wanted the picture somewhere easily accessible to him in case he wanted to reference it later, and his own Photobucket account probably seemed an easy, highly accessible place to save the photo. Knowing how long lugnut has been around these forums, and having never even seen a passing reference to any Disney-related (or other) blog or other money-making enterprise he might be associated with, I'm assuming that lugnut had no ill intentions when he saved the picture. Of course, I'm probably biased because I do enjoy reading lugnut's posts, and therefore I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt...though I am disturbed by the shade he threw at asparagus. But not everyone is perfect. ;)

Here now and wondering...have they changed the way they are managing the FP return line? This is my third trip with FP+. On the last two trips, the FP return line usually only took about 5 minutes (never more than 10). This trip it is consistently 15-20 minutes after getting into FP return line.

In addition, I have noticed that they seem to be taking back a lot of people from the standby line compared to the amount they let through from the fastpass line. I would have just chalked it up to maybe being more crowded right now, but there were two particular instances that stuck out as different than previous experiences.

First one - had FP+ for Dinosaur, wait time for standby was 15 minutes, we waited over 20 with the FP. Second example: had FP for tea cups. Got in FP line. Watched them take literally every single person from the standby line. Then took FP line after that for the next ride. We saw the people who went into the standby line after we entered the FP line go on the ride the time before us. We would have ridden one round sooner if we had walked through the standby line.

And although those are the most glaring examples, it has been similar things with every FP we've used over the last 4 days. So tell me, has some policy changed? Something in the way they are distributing or managing FP+? Something definitely seems different this trip and not good different.

We did not notice an issue at DHS a week ago, Sunday. Wonder what is up that made you experience all this. We pretty much walked on (well, to the final part of the line) at the merge points. So our wait was significantly shorter than standby.
