Has anyone had trouble booking fast passes on the app once you get to WDW? I ask because we won't be getting out tickets until we get to the park and it looks like you are required to have a ticket on file prior to making your fast pass selections 60 days out. For those that have done this did you have your tickets before you made your selections or were you able to make the selections without the passes?
TIA

You need to have valid tickets linked to make FP+ selections in advance. You can make them once you arrive and have your tickets in hand but be prepared for A&E and 7DMT to not be available, and your choice of times may not be the best for attractions like TSMM.

In early April I had last minute chance to spend day at the MK while passing through the Orlando airport, bought one day pass at the gate at 745a, and was able to book FP+ with assistance of CM before RD. I had already loaded ME app on my phone so once I had ticket in hand I could register ticket on the app and select FP+ (which I was also able to change during the day). The main issue you will have, especially if there during large crowds, would be limited options of rides and times for attractions to select FP+ on the day of, in particular the most popular rides may not be available such as 7DMT, TT, Soarin, TSM.
