will staying at OKW for 6 days in late July - will spend most of the mroning and part of the afternoon at the resort - will go to parks late afternoon and at night - what is the chance that the big attractions will be out of fastpasses when I arrive - anyway through DVC that we could get instant fastpaasses - maybe through our rep. thanks

During the busier days of the year, and that would include July, many fastpass locations do "sell out" by early afternoon. Of course, there is always the chance you could get a fastpass for late in the day.

DVC usually only gives fastpasses as an incentive to those who take the DVC tour at Saratoga Springs.

Have a great time.

That is when we will be at WDW, and the time we typically go. FP's are usually gone by 1:00 - 2:00 pm at rides like TSM and Soarin.

If the others still have them, the return time is usually quite a bit later in to the night. Of course, that might work out in your favor.

We are going to do the BLT presentation one day because I have heard they are giving the FP cards to members who go to that. We are considering a small add on anyway, and plan to do it on the day we check in to BLT. There is a chance we won't have a room to go to anyway, so figure what they hey! Plus, we are looking forward to getting those FP's for the rest of our time.

I believe you would be better off doing just the opposite. July is the busiest time in the summer. I would go 30 min. prior to park opening, no waiting if you stay ahead of the crowd and leave the park by 1:00pm to go to the pool. Then shower and dinner. We just did this a week ago. By 1pm it is difficult to walk through the park just to get to where you are going. Going to a park at 2pm - 3pm is the hottest time of day. JMHO, whatever you decide enjoy your trip!!

This is what we TRY to do. ;) We try to take advantage of EMH, so we sleep in on mornings after a really late EMH (like at MK) and get up early for EMH when we won't be out late the night before.

Soarin' and Toy Story Mania DO run out of FPs early - when we were there in late July, sometimes it was by 11am. Other rides are usually later, but by late afternoon there may not be any left. (BTW, your whole party has to enter the park (and scan tickets) to get a FP. But once you have a FP, you can use it anytime that day after the time stamped.)

Our typical schedule is to go to a park "early" and come back early afternoon for a swim and a break, then go back in the late afternoon/evening for more fun! On "sleep-in" days we just go late and enjoy a more leisurely day at the resort - but we know by the time we get there, the FPs may be gone.

Have a great trip!
