FastPass+ hard to get?

This is our first time traveling under the fastpass+ system. If I'm online at midnight 60 days out, should I be able to get all my fastpasses? Particularly Anna and Elsa? Which fast passes should I shoot for first? When I went to book dining online at 180 days out, the online system wasn't working and I had to call over the phone at 7. Does the online fastpass system ever go down like that and what do you do then? Thanks!

I would book A&E first if it's something you know you want. Then seven dwarfs mine train because it's new and therefore in high demand.

Is A & E hard to get like BOG dinner reservations, where even if you're logged in at midnight it still might not happen? We're there for 8 days, so I'll try to book furthest out first. I don't want to get my 5 yr. old girl's hopes up about seeing A & E and then not being able to get a fast pass. Or should I be okay if I'm on at midnight 67 days out.

I'm not sure how hard they are to get but I can tell u this.... I booked mine on the morning it was moved to MK by that afternoon it was few and far between, now I can't change my fp time for the life if me!

And this was the end of April for an end of may trip

Yes, some people who have logged in at midnight have been unable to get the fastpasses. You are definitely better off trying for a day further out in your trip. Also, if you can't get fastpasses for your entire party, try booking for one or two people and then try to copy the fastpass to the other members of your party. You may end up with slightly different times but as long as the times overlap, you'll be able to all go in together.

I booked tonight at 60 days out. Started at 11:00 pm Central on the dot. I did my 6th day first and got 2 spots for A&E at 9:00 am. There were still a variety of A&E times available when I looked at it again 90 minutes later. I also saw A&E times on our other MK days. And SDMT spots available on all our MK days as well. I was relieved to find everything I wanted even on the first days of our trip. There is hope!

This is our first time not staying onsite.

Are Sam day fp not happening even though they said they were reserving them? And if times are gone 60 days out I guess we off site people shouldn't hope for anything for when our advance window opens?

We are going to WDW in June. I made my FP+ ressies at day 60. Since then, I have changed them multiple times and have always gotten what I wanted. (Anna and Elsa not included because my "baby" is 17 years old!)

What time of year are you going? Right now I'm 28 days out from my June trip and still seeing FP for decent stuff. (Not A&E)

Also Disney has confirmed now they do not hold any FP for day of. So if something is gone today it will stay gone unless someone cancels their reservation.

Exactly! I've had no problems changing any of the ride times except A&E & 7DMT so these would be my priority

I logged on a few minutes after 12 and I had no problem getting what I wanted for our July trip. I was able to get the Anna and Elsa FP. In fact I changed days with no problem. The problem I had was trying not to schedule them close to our ADRs!

I booked my trip last minute (3 weeks ago) and I was able to get E&A last week for both of my MK days - Friday 5/23 & Saturday 5/24!

I was very surprised. I wasn't even gonna try for a FP+ for them. I figured we would skip it this time and go in the fall when I'm more prepared.

If you want A&E, Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride, or maybe wishes. Then worry about booking asap. If not, you don't have to worry at all about getting FP's

I've never booked my FP's more than 3 weeks out and I've always gotten what I've wanted.

You cannot book Wishes at 60 days out (or even 30) anyway.

How far out then? Anytime I've went to book FP's this year, I've never seen Wishes as being selected. It's always greyed out.

I haven't been looking for book it, but I assumed it was all just picked long before I selected the FP's

Like MSEP, Festival of Fantasy, or Illuminations, often 14 days or less--it is not predictable. See the green link in my signature.

Nov 14.
We usually do sept but wanted to see Christmas instead of mnshhp for once. AE is what I'm worried about most having 3 little girls who are obsessed. Sigh. Also hoping its far enough that they will be able to employ more Disney magic ahem, to make the line go faster. Almost as of there are more than one set of Anna and Elsa to see.... ;)

^^ that sucks so bad.
I would think so if I stayed on site as we usually do as well. I just hate the whole planned portion. And it just seems bad to not leave some for day of. The whole booking early thing should be a privilege that they limit the amount of each agtraction to a certain percentage
and if you don't get it then you just book the day off like normal.

I think it just looks bad on Disney. Plus doesn't give much options for those who like vacations to flow and be able to grab fp based on what the day is like.

Please no one say well you don't have to use it bc we are used to using fp so it does really change things.

That's good. Those both are definitely on our list but its good to know that we aren't going to be stuck with aladdins carpets or stitch for fp options.

Good news. Although yes I want those things as well, but glad ill be able to get things like splash or btmrr still.

I got all my FP, all top rides/meet and greet (A&E). This was a few hours after the 60 days. Good luck!!
