Fastpass for Journey Into Imagination cancled

I just received an email from Disney this morning saying my Fastpass+ selection for Journey Into Imagination With Figment is no longer available on Dec 25th and has been switched to something else...

Does this mean the ride is going to be closed during our trip?

There was a rumor last year that the entire pavilion was closing Jan 2014 for a refurbishment so that may be actually happening now.

Maybe they're bringing back the original ride!

Please oh please oh please let it be that they are redoing the ride to make it as great as it once was. And please oh please oh please let it mean that they are bringing back Dreamfinder. And please oh please oh please let it mean that they are making the area after the ride as much fun as it once was. You know what? Please oh please oh please let it just plain be that they are bringing back what it was in the early 90's.

Either that, or they've somehow managed to book up all available ride slots with FP+ riders, and decided to cancel yours to let a tour group ride together.

It's strange, I just looked (I have extra days on a no expiration option ticket beyond what I need FP's for this vacation), Dec 25 only has 8:00 a.m. Imagination FP+'s available but Dec 26th has a full slate of FP+'s.

But Dr. Nigel Channing is staying. He'll perform various experiment on Elsa involving Sight, Sound, Smell, Touch and Taste what effect it has on her ice creations.

"What will Elsa do when she thinks a train is about to hit her or she get's sprayed with fake skunk odor?"

The same thing happened to us. It gave us Nemo... I looked again and Journey to Imagination shows up Christmas Day for FP but only for a 8:00 AM- 9:00 AM time slot... weird.

The FP system is flawed

They redid my 10am FP for 1 pm for a ride last week

We just happened to be in area at that time and ride was operating and almost empty so we rode it
