FastPass+ For Fireworks late in the day?

What if we pre-order FP+ for 3 rides before we go and then could we get a FP+ for fireworks in EPCOT or MK the same day?
Maybe go to the FP+ kiosk around 2 or 3 pm.
Do you think they would be sold out?

How many FP+ are available for fireworks at MK & EPCOT?
Only 50 FP+ ?
Maybe as little as 25 ?

We would be in WDW early May, 2 - 12, 2015.

We will try for a FP+ for fireworks anyway
If not we will try to FP+ another ride and then secure a fireworks spot after a quick bite to each for dinner.

Very unlikely that late in the afternoon. We thought at EPCOT that there might be a shot as picking it up as a 4th since it was a Tier 1 choice. We figured most people would take Soarin or TT as their Tier 1. No luck at all.

MK, I think the FP+ for fireworks is kind of a waste. I don't know where the current FP+ location is with all the hub construction, but I know historically it has not been the best spot. It still seems to be a pretty popular FP+ though.

You may have a shot at Illuminations based on crowd level that day. I think there were Illuminations spots left yesterday afternoon.
