Fastpass Enforcement coming?

I'm all for it.

I do think there should be a bit of a grace period, maybe 15 minutes, but if you get a FP that says 3pm and you come back at 4:30 you should be turned away.

Well, maybe this has been said somewhere else in these 124 pages (only read the first few and the last few), but if this is actually enforced, maybe those of us who work nights and can't screw with our sleep cycles to make rope drop without getting migraines might actually have a shot at getting FPs for once! People who are used to going in the morning and evenings, and taking a mid-day break might actually think twice before getting that 2pm FastPass, and we might actually be able to get it!

Thank you...and please be aware that I am not trying to deny you your opinions - I'm trying to point out that there is a much bigger picture out there, which all the "official" and unofficial information still fits in once you distill it, that can provide other conclusions.

Question: Did you "personally" feel the way Wadecool described in earlier posts? Thanks.

I am not related to Doconeill in any way, and yes he can clearly speak for himself as shown by the amazing job he's done thus far in breaking down this subject. It looked as if you were taking a hard stance toward him in earlier posts but that is clearly not the case as evidenced by your most recent interactions, so my apologies.
My opinions: I have happily used FP's later in the day during past trips because that is what I was instructed to do by Disney CM's. Because of that instruction by paid Disney personnel, I do not believe that I or anyone else who used FP's in this manner were breaking any rules or scamming the system. Since using FP's late will no longer be allowed after March 7th, I will adapt my touring plans and move on. Nothing earthshaking in my opinions, and I didn't even need to use red fonts to get my message across.

Apology accepted, it wasn't necessary but I appreciate the gesture. If you really felt like Doconeill had done such an "amazing" job in this thread, you would not have been compelled to initiate a confrontation on his behalf, especially based upon pure speculation over a non issue, it's kind of an insult. I don't know I just sense I double standard because Doconeill took a hard stance toward me on more than one occasion within this thread (which was totally fine by me), yet you felt I was the one who was too hard on him and then you tried to make an issue when there clearly wasn't one. Obviously, it was just *you* that had an issue with me, I don't know why -- perhaps the red fonts and you used Doconeill as an excuse to get at me, which wasn't very nice. There were and are many other posters who have taken a much harder stance toward Doconeill, it's quite interesting how you haven't confronted those posters. If I am wrong I apologize but that's how I see it.

Anyway, thanks for responding and sharing your opinion, I wish you would have shared your feelings about XPass, but that's cool.

I think there's a very good chance that's why Disney is doing this...to spread out the use of fastpass and prevent them from being sold out so quickly to people who are simply hording them.

I would guess that a solid 85% of Dis visitors already think the end time is the end time for Fast Passes. A solid 10% have no clue what Fastpasses are, think that it costs extra to have them, or just never bother one way or the other. Essentially, IMO, if this is indeed enforced it will only be punishing Diz's biggest followers, like the ones on this board. IMO they should try to keep folks like us pleased.... the ones coming 2-3 times per year adding up to 21+ days on site. Moreso than the average person who saves their pennies for that one trip when the kids hit the "right age" for them to travel. Hidden Mickey's, Dole whips, rope drop, FastPass dash/FP hoarding with relaxed return times on FP. Let us Diz freaks have their fun!
