fastest way to SSR- driving

Hopefully this is posted on the correct board. We are driving down from Northern Indiana, leaving Sunday very early. We have driven 3 other times, but never to SSR. What is the best way to get to SSR from the Florida turnpike- we will take 75 to the turnpike. After that, I got some conflicting directions from mapquest and my Garmin.
Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

In Oct, my phone's GPS took me turnpike to I-4 to Lake Buena Vista (or whatever road the DTD hotels are on.)

I thought that route worked well, but I was not travelling on I-4 during a peak traffic time. That traffic can be a problem at times.

I know there's supposed to be an earlier turnpike exit onto another toll road that takes you more to the AKV side of the World. I did not notice that exit from the Turnpike, as it seems the Turnpike exits are under constant, never ending construction and perhaps that earlier one was closed?

We always take 75 to Turnpike and then 429. 429 is a toll road but it is hardly used and you bypass all of that I-4 mess. Once on 429 take Western Way and it'll put you onto WDW property near CSR. Turn left off of Western Way onto W. Buena Vista Drive and stay on that until you go past DTD. Then turn left onto Buena Vista Drive and SSR will be on your left. Granted you can take less turns if you stay on I-4 and get off onto Apopka Vineland Road but I'd rather skip I-4, regardless of the time of day, and take 429.

Gotta second the 429 route. It's way more enjoyable than I-4!!

429 is really the easiest, we always use it staying at OKW.
