We are going to go to Epcot during the day and we have a reservation at Garden Grill at 4:05. After we eat we want to go to HS to see Fantasmic that starts at 8:30. What is the fastest way to get to HS from Epcot, boat or bus ? Do the buses or a boat run directly from Epcot to HS ? :confused3

Boat from DHS to/from EPCOT takes about 20 minutes.
Very nice ride.
Goes from EPCOT to the BW, then YC/BC, then S/D, then off to DHS
Reverser oder from DHS.....to...EPCOT

Other option is to walk - but that also may take you 20 - 30 minutes.
Walk from EPCOT to the BC then cross over the bridge to the BW to the Swan- then behind the Swan (somewhere - maybe someone else can add to this) is a path to DHS.

I would do the boat.

GG ADR around 4 PM - you will be out by 5:30 PM. Then on a boat to DHS by 6:15 PM and at EPCOT by 7 PM. :goodvibes

In your situation from the Garden Grill I would proably just take the bus although I prefer the boat myself.

The walk to the front of Epcot where the bus station is is much quicker from the GG than walking all the way around to the IG where the boat dock is.

The bus is also direct and the boat has several stops.

I agree about taking the bus over to DHS, since the Garden Grill is closer to the front of the park...but I do not recall buses going from the Epcot bus stops over to the other parks...but I could be wrong. I thought that you'd have to take the monorail to the TTC and take the DHS bus from there. Again my memory could be incorrect about the bus stops at Epcot.

There use to be a bus that went from DHS to EPCOT as we've taken is a few times. If you catch it, it takes about 5 minutes -- but you gotta add that wait time in. It's been a year since we did it, so don't know if it still runs.

We have taken a direct bus from Epcot to DHS many times, as recently as April 2010. Even with a wait IMHO the bus would be faster in the OP's situation.

Walk from Epcot's International Gateway to the Boardwalk. (Don't go as far as the Beach Club.) The walkway to DHS is on the Boardwalk side of the waterway, just before you get to the bridge to the Swan/Dolphin. DON'T cross the bridge to the Swan!

The boat ride from Epcot's International Gateway to the Studios will take between 25-30 minutes.

Since the OP will be at The Land for dinner, I'd probably take the bus.

OK thanks all I think I will take the bus since we need to be at Fantasmic an hour early to get a seat.:cheer2:
