On another thread, people were discussing pool closures and it made me Wonder about people's experiences. On the Wonder in March, the Mickey pool (or I guess I should call it the Dory pool) was closed for cleaning before 1 pm on embarkation day. I do not mean closed until 1. I mean it was open around lunch time and then closed. That's the fastest I have ever seen. Was it the first kid in the pool???

On our Alaskan cruise it was closed a few times. I think if anyone poops, pukes, regurgitates, etc it is closed.

I'll have to look it up. On one of our Mexican Riviera cruises it closed the first or second day. I took a picture. :teeth:

For our Alaskan cruise, they closed the Goofy pool whenever they had to use the foghorn as it is too loud around the pool area. Not sure how often it was closed, we encountered this issue on the last day at sea--I had sent DH and DD12 to the pool while I started packing and they came back a few minutes later.

Similar timeframe to the OP, on the Wonder last April, on what turned out to be the norocruise.

How long does it usually take to get it reopened? Or is it typically that once it's closed, that's kinda it for the day for that pool?
