We have a room only ressie for 10/24 followed by a package that starts 10/25 with free dining. Will I be able to book for the whole trip starting 60 days before 10/24 or not until the following day for the 10/25 package? If not will I least be able to book the day earlier for 10/25 since it is part of the 10/24 stay, or no since there are no tickets associated with that reservation? Thanks!

You can book 10/24 & 10/25 on 180 Day mark for your room only ressie; the rest can be book on the next day on the 160 Day mark of your other ressie.

Agree with the PP, except you mention no tickets for the room only package. You can only reserve FP+ for the number of days you have valid park admission linked in your MDE.

Thanks! That's what I thought, just really want7DMT for 10/25 so great I can get it the day before. We have plenty of days on our tickets and won't be using any on our party day, so we should be fine.

We have a room only before our DVC ressie. We have no expire tickets separate from these reservations loaded into MDE. Last year I could book for our entire trip at the opening of the 60 day for the room only. Will I be able to do that this year?

We have a room only for one night (booked directly through Disney), followed by a package booked through an agent. Our 60 days from the room only is today and I booked my FP for the whole trip last night.

Sorry for previous post. Tried for myself today. Booking window opens from the check in of the first reservaruin to the check out date of the second.

Yes, it's 60 days from checkin with a room-only OR package onsite as long as you have tickets for that reservation. That's where the room-only the OP has is causing issues, because they don't have tickets for that reservation. They have tickets for the package that follows, but those won't be available for FP+s ahead of time for the room-only reservation.

If you have tickets available for your room-only, you can book FP+s at 60 days.

Ok, we are doing the same thing as OP for our September trip, arriving on 9/12, but starting FD package with tickets on 9/13.
Right now we have 7 day PHs. I thought I read somewhere that it is possible to have package tickets activated up to 3 days prior to the start date. We would like to hit MK on our first day, so if I were to make our 7 day passes into 8 day passes then couldn't I book the all 8 days including the room only day we have?

I disagree with this b/c I have experience with this exact situation. For the past 2 yrs I have had one night room only, followed by a package. I was able to book (last yr, & this yr just a few wks ago) on the 60 day mark for the room only. The room only and the package with tickets were all linked to the same MDE account. Last summer I didn't realize this until I woke up to an email saying it was time to book fast passes. I thought it would be midnight that night. I was out shopping and started to frantically make Anna & Else and Mine train on my app on my phone and raced home to make the rest. This year I was prepared. You can only make them for the number of days you have tickets for. So if you have 6 days worth of passes you can only make them for 6 days of your trip. I hope this helps!

I have the same situation with a room only followed by a package. There is an extra day on the tickets but it wouldn't let me book FP for the room only. I guess I need to wait until the tickets are activated the day or so before.

I should clarify. I didn't try to book fast passes on the room only night, but my 60 day window opened to book them then. I just reread my post and realized I didn't state that. I have not tried to book fast passes for that day either day b/c that is our travel day and we get in late. The reason for the one night add on to our trip. Sorry, I hope that's a little more clear.

I have a RO for 2 days before our trip got a email reminder to go book FP at the 60 day mark of the RO and was able to make our FP for the whole 15 days of the trip at the 60 day mark of the RO....Crikey I hope that makes sense!it was so cool and unexpected as I didn't think I could book until tomorrow morning!
