Fast Passes / Disney Extra Hour

I'm staying at the All Stars Resort this Easter, and want to use the Extra Hour as much as possible. My question is can you get Fast Passes within this extra hour period?

I have used the EMH on plenty of occasions and Im sure the fast pass machines are up and running then, to be honest we have been lucky when we went and havent needed to use fast pass for the morning EMH, but I am sure they are working, you will find though that sometimes esp in the mornings, only certain rides and attractions are open during EMH.

The good thing is that, because you will already be in the park when the gates open to offsite guests, you can get a Fastpass in hand too
