Anyone know who updates DVC Availability Tool website?

Since Disney changed the views from Lake to Preferred the Lake categories no longer populate ie BLT VGF. Also, the Island Tower has not been added. Just looking to find out if the site will be updated or if anyone has alterative site with similar functionality. I hate logging into the DVC website just to check for availability.

There is no site out there that provides real time availability.

I'm not sure that it is run by the board sponsor but I guess it could be. No help link so no way of knowing unless someone on these boards knows.

Disneyland Hotel Villas doesn't appear to be on their availability site either

I (used to) find that tool helpful as well. It's a lot less helpful now... In addition to no PIT and new categories not populating, there is no CFW and no BPK inventory option at all...

Clearly, it's not a priority for them.

They work pretty hard to not disclose who owns it. There is a copyright notice at the bottom of the page, but no indication of who claims the copyright. That is unusual. The domain is registered through godaddy's "private registration" subsidiary, which obfuscates the owner's identity.

However, they recommend the DVC Resale family of companies (including Monera) prominently and exclusively, so it is not hard to imagine who likely owns it.

My guess: the data is built by scraping the DVC web site, which is something that I imagine Disney's T&C prohibits. So, they need at leat a fig leaf to separate this tool from "the business" end of things to avoid complications. It would not surprise me if there were a separate business entity registered for this and possibly other grey (and not-so-grey) areas.

Just another reminder that there is a LOT of money in the DVC rental/resale ecosystem.
