There are two "tips" I have not seen mentioned, yet:
1) Get your second FP as soon as you can, before you use the first FP. This way the time starts to run on your next ride while you are riding the first ride.
2) Only one person in your family needs to get FPs for the entire group. This way, DD (or whoever) can collect everyone's admission tickets and run to the FP machines and get FPs for everyone. This lets the rest of the group wait in line at another attraction, take a potty break, eat lunch, shop, etc. while DD gets the FPs. It's also handy if your next attraction is across the park. Only one person has to jog across the park and back.
Runningma, I have one other comment about FP. To understand how great FP is, one has to understand the logic behind it. Many people assume it's not worth getting a FP if the return time is 2-3 hours away, but the estimated wait for the stanby line is only 50 mins. This is wrong. While you might get on that ride sooner without FP, you'll lose a lot of time for other rides. Get the FP. While waiting the two hours for the return time you can go on rides with out FP, grab lunch, anything but wait in line.
Good luck and have fun.
