Fast Pass?

Hi, wanted to know about fast pass? booked 7 day cruise out of N.Y. Have 1 day at Disneyworld. Trying to get a general idea. Do I need to pick the attraction or rides before the cruise? etc..... Thanks for the help..

Basically you get 3 generic FP for use on any FP ride, at any time. Once you use those you can pull additional FPs.

Except the rides in Pandora as I understand it. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you couldn't use them on those.
