Will be allowed now,and no more Official Fast Pass Thread. Please stay on subject and be polite and respectful of other posters.I am sorry I messed up the thread so I think it best to open this topic back up for discussion. We have some great posters with solid information to help all with questions.I just do not want the first page to have 5 or 6 threads that are covering same ground. I am sorry as a moderator that I handled this thread badly.I hope you understand Mod's can be wrong and make. mistakes.I will leave this as a sticky for a few days then I will remove the sticky. Thank You Moderator Danny

Oh dear, did I miss a trainwreck on a previous FP thread?

Anyhoo... just to get my mind right about the "new" FP policy before our upcoming trip. Is it so that all FPs are now honored only within the printed window (with a 15 min grace period)?

There are rumored exceptions to the 15-minute GP, some of which were volunteered to me by an attraction CM last week. I will not share what the CM said to me, but I will say they make sense. I do not want to contribute to misuse, real or perceived.

I had a RnRc Fast Pass for 9:40 - 10:40 this morning and the CM let me use it at 10:58.

If you are stuck in a sit down restaurant during your window, trying bringing your receipt with your FP to thr attraction. No guarantee, but you might be allowed to use the fp.

This is the kind of thing, I want verified...either way. How much time, does Disney, expect me to anticipate for ADRs? :confused3

ATTENTION! I actually received a call today from guest services after I sent them a letter regaling the current "concern" on the DIS about the enforcement and what happens for those times where one might run late due to a late running ADR or a ride breakdown etc.

The CM was very nice to talk to and understood exactly what we've been debating ad nauseum here. He said to bring your receipt from your ADR if your service caused a conflict and inform the Cm at the ride. If you experience a ride breakdown or something ELSE that caused you to miss your window, explain it to the CM.

IF YOU ARE NOT GIVEN SATISFACTORY TREATMENT FROM THE FASTPASS CM AT THE LINE, he said to request to speak to a supervisor or "lead".

Disney is not in the business of sticking to the hard line just to stick to it. If there are genuine circumstances that prevented you from making your window, they will endeavor to help you out. His words.

Any questions about the conversation, just let me know.

Jen, I appreciate the information. ADRs have been the main reason, we've used FPs outside the window. The wait times are unpredictable and the service..hit or miss. I don't want to spend $300 for a meal AND miss our fastpasses. That's just too much..for me to bear. ;)

Last year when we were seated an hour late for 2 different ADR's the restaurants (Tusker and Momma) each gave us handwritten "FP" that we could use on any attraction at any time.

I'd think that if you got stuck in an ADR that was the restaurant's fault, you could bring it to the restaurant management's attention and show them your expired/expiring FP and they'd extend you this same courtesy.
