Generally, it is best to choose FP+ based on time savings and/or your personal must-do rides. This thread is wonderful for prioritizing your FP+ choices:

Magic Kingdom has so many headliner rides that we have picked our favorites, even if they might not save the most time. For example, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a must-do for DD11, so it is one of our FP+ choices. We will probably ride it more than once because she loves Pooh, so it is nice to have FP+ for one of those rides. The mountains (Space, Splash and Big Thunder) always have some of the longer wait times, as well as Peter Pan's Flight.
If your DD wants to meet Anna and Elsa, that is the best time-saving if you can get FP+. Enchanted Tales with Belle is another character event with long lines.
At Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania and Rock'n Roller Coaster have the longest lines. Your DD might not like RnR, but she will almost certainly like TSM. The line is more interesting at TSM, though - the RnR line is pretty boring. FP+ is tiered at DHS, so you can't pick both.
At Epcot, Soarin' and Test Track have the longest lines. My kids both picked Test Track for our FP+, but we will stand in line for Soarin'. FP+ is tiered at Epcot, so you can't pick both.
At Animal Kingdom, the three attractions with the longest lines are Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids and Kilimanjaro Safaris. You could use FP+ for all three.
Generally speaking, parades and fireworks do not save you as much time as using FP+ for attractions, but some families do find it useful.
Enjoy your first trip!
