I am in the process of trying to refine my "commando" plan for WDW. I know the rides that I am planning to hit and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the fast passes.
From what I have read, the fast pass has changed a bit since I last used it a year ago. Now, you can hold more than one fast pass at a time, correct? So, what is the best strategy for holding the most amount of fast passes at the same time. Oh, and I don't mind treking all over the park to get them. I'd imagine this would be most useful for MK, but I welcome suggestions on all parks of course.

I haven't been there since last year so I'm no help on a new strategy, but I'd like to hear someone's advice too!

After getting the fast pass of your choice the ticket now prints the time you can get another FP. No more guessing.

Hope that helps.

We would grab a fast pass for a ride and look at the time. When the time is up you acan optain another pass. so we headed to another ride rode it and grabbed a fasspass for a ride in that area before we headed to a different area. MK was packed (Xmas time) but we got on all the rides. I was the runner. It would have been nuts to have all of us run, so we would decide the next ride, I would get the passes and meet my family there. I think at one point we held four fast passes. They were calling me the insane fastpass lady. When we went to ride HM, I noticed I even had a extra pass, don't know how I managed that one. but it made some teenager very happy when I gave it to him. Gina

I was there last weekend, most fastpasses allowed you to get another one in 1 hour 6 minutes (most returns were more than an hour away).

This is all great information...thanks...keep it coming!

Also, just because they have fastpasses, doesn't mean you need one.
We frequently saw situations where certain attractions had fastpass return times of 1-2 hours later, but the standby time was very short. Specific places where that happened were Bug's Life and the Indiana Jones Stunt show. The CM at the entrance was trying to get people to come in for the next show and they were so focused on "we need to get a fastpass" that they didn't even know they could have gotten right in.
So, my advice is to look at the standby time (especially for shows that have large capacity) before you get a fastpass.

We also saw some rides where they had turned off the fastpass machine because the standby line was short. We actually saw people leave because "the fastpasses are all gone" without even looking at the standby time, when they could have basically walked right on.
