I know when you have a split stay, MS makes a fake reservation in order for you to make ADR's at 180 days for your entire stay. When I questioned them about when it is time to make FP+, how do I go about making them for the entire stay on the 60th day from my first check in. MS told me it would not be necessary to do the same thing with FP+ ADR's as I could make my entire stay based on the first day.

I have talked to the MDE help desk and they dispute this fact stating each reservation stands on its own and only FP+ reservations can be made at one time for one reservation.

I am needing advise on how do I go about making FP+ reservations for the entire trip on a split stay 60 days from the initial check in date?

I know that it used to be pretty much open to the number of days on your ticket, so once you qualified for FP at 60 days you could book more than you had on your stay. But it's been a little while since I've done more than a day or two at 60 and am usually setting up 30 days or closer. Anyway, what MS told you was correct at one time and may still be.

I'm in the middle of a split stay right now. Sunday to Wednesday nights were at the Poly and today through Saturday nights we are at AoA. I made FP+ 60 days from Poiy check-in for the entire 8 days. No special action needed, both reservations were on MDE.

FP+ recognizes the entire stay, but ADR's are based on each reservation.

Good to know. We have a split stay this November. We have already run into the issue of restaurant reservations - each reservation has its own 180 day limit. Good to know we shouldn't have the same problem when we get to Fast passes.

For clarification, if I have a ten day park hopper and my check in date is 10/1, I would have to have split stay reservations for 10 consecutive days beginning 10/1 in order to make FP+ reservations for all those 10 days on 10/1. Correct? If I only had split stay reservations for seven consecutive days beginning 10/1, would I only be able to make 7 days of FP+ on 10/1 ?

There's a whole sub-forum dedicated to FP+ under the Theme Park forum. You'd get a better answer over there. I'm under the impression that the system will open up for all consecutive days you have an on-site reservation beyond 60 days, up to 14 additional days. So, I guess "60+14" to coincide with "180+10."
