Fast Pass Question?

I have read on these boards that you can use your fast pass after the time to return has elapsed. How long after? Just for that day? Any help would be appreciated!!

It all really depends on the CM standing at the enterence to the fastpass line...

While we try to get to the ride/attraction within the 1 hour window on our FP, I've never been turned away if it is later. I had a CM tell me recently that we could come back anytime after the posted window. I still try to make it back in my alloted time though.
