Fast pass on arrival day

We'll be arriving at 1:15 and taking Magical Express to our resort. What time would you aim to schedule your first fast pass for? Thanks!

What resort and what park are you trying to get to? Without knowing that, I would say probably 4:30 or so.

Staying at POFQ. Can't decide if I should do Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom. We're arriving the day after Thanksgiving so I don't know if MK will be too crazy.

You can book for 3:30 and your FP return window remains open until 4:45.

For me, it really depends on how quickly you want to turn around once you get to the resort. With a 1:15 pm flight arrival, you will probably get to the resort around 2:45/3:00 pm (depending on how they load the buses, traffic and how many resort stops you make). That means, your room may very well be ready when you arrive. Do you want to go to your room and freshen up? Do you just want to drop any carry-ons at bell services and beeline to the park buses? If you plan on spending the rest of your evening in a park (both will be crowded), I would probably make the first FP+ for around 5 pm. This gives you some wiggle room at the resort, to get through security at the park and to make your way leisurely to your first ride.

I give myself some added time in case there are delays. It's inevitable that we will start later than planned. There is always a risk of traffic back up on the way down.

We're driving in in a couple of weeks. Our targeted arrival time is 3:30 PM. Our first FP, Star Tours, is set for 5:35 with a second, TSMM, at 6:35.
