Fast Pass Fantasmic

Question, has any one fast passed Fantasmic? I am just curious is to where you sit? Is it really worth a fast pass? I know it is in the A group with TSM and TT and RR. We are going 4/8 to 4/15.

No, completely NOT worth it. It only guarantees you a seat. You walk in with everyone else and get a seat wherever it's available, like everyone else. You still have to arrive early, again just like everyone else, to get a good seat. Waste of a FP.

If you want a seat front and center, you still need to arrive early. Seats are still first-come, first-served.

But before FP+, you'd often have to be in the queue 60-90 minutes before the show just to guarantee ANY seat. That's no longer the case. If you aren't picky about your seating location, with FP+ you can arrive 15 minutes before the show and still be guaranteed to get in.

I thought it was totally worth the FP. We had never seen Fantasmic, we have small children and never wanted to stand in a line for 30-60 min before the show started. With FP+ we walked RIGHT in, 20-25 min before the show started. We passed all the people waiting, including those in the reserved from dining seats. We walked up to the front and center and had our choice of seats.

It was great to have only 20 min before show time to entertain our kids while the rest of the line then started moving and people slowly took their seats.

With a toddler, totally worth it

We didn't fast pass Fantasmic, but we did do the VIP viewing with the sweets box and it was AWESOME! Not sure if you're interested in spending the money, but it was delicious and great seats. We ate off of our sweets for 2 nights after.

Our family has a 3 way battle going on this FP+ choice right now and we currently have F! chosen for next week on a day that there is only 1 show. And our only day in DHS.

You're in luck though -- ToT is not Tier 1. You can add FP+ for that either way.

I want to know more about this sweets box, since we're not interested in any of the F! dining restaurants.

They do this at WDW? We did it at DL and it was awesome!

We took advantage of the Fantasmic picnic dinner option at Min and Bill's and did get to bypass much of the line. This may be another option, but I don't think it is offered all the time. The regular line filled up on the right. We arrived about 30 minutes before the start of the show and went up almost to the stroller parking area. They had a rope up there and opened it up maybe 15 minutes before the start of the show when seating began. There were a few hundred people ahead of us, but we had seats in the center a little less than half way up.
