Fast food restaurants

I recently ate at Burger King because that was all that was around. But I normally don't eat fast food.

I'm once a month or less.

What got me to thinking about this is when DH said he was making a New Years resolution to give up those griddle breakfast sandwiches -- he eats them every day! I very rarely get the kids anything from fast food restaurants, and myself hardly ever.

Although, do you count Subway as fast food? I get from there more often, but still only once a month or more. I don't consider it the same as McDonald's and Burger King.

So why am I still fat?

I voted a few times a month, but it's probably like 2.

We do tend to eat out a lot, but I don't consider it eating out if I have to order the food, carry the food, serve the food, get ketchup, etc, and clean up afterwards. Unless it's a sit-down restaurant where I can get a Margarita, it's not eating out.

I put "average once a month or less" but it really depends. Most months it's once a month, but if I have a hectic schedule (like around the holidays) it will increase a bit more, I just don't have the time. But I'd say 10 months out of 12 it's about once a month.

Super Size Me did us in. We haven't stepped inside a fast food restaurant for over a year and a half.

And Subway doesn't count!

hucifer--it was his book "Don't Eat This Book" that did me in. :yes: DH eats fast food more than DS or I do..mostly because he's lazy, forgets to take something with him to eat for lunch at work and ends up going to Wendy's, Jack in the Crack or Raisin' Cains on his lunch break.

We go a few times a month. If you include pizza then it's over 10 times a month.

We do limit the fast food to just Wendy's now, where I can get the salads.

But I do admit last Friday as I got off the train I went into McDonald's to get a large fries. It was ages since I went there. They did taste good as I driving home!

If you're talking pizza, I'd say more than 5 times a week easily.

If you're talking Big 3 - BK, McD's and Wendy's, I'm gonna say twice a week. Maybe less.

Wendy's is the only one that doesn't make me feel like crap afterwards.

I said a few times a month. Some months is may be 2 or 3, other times it might be only once during the month. It's mostly when we're hurrying to do something and are having a tough time squeezing dinner in.
