We have a family trip coming up in February to do a split stay onsite (1st time onsite and super jazzed about it). My question is when I go to look at the FP calendar on MDE now all I can see is 30 days out, at what point will I be able to see 60 days out. I'm trying to avoid any unforeseen problems also any other advice or tips for a 1st timer would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You'll only see 30 days out until the morning you're 60 days out at 7am eastern time. Then you'll be able to book

I have a question. I have a annual pass but also have a split reservation for August. I know with annual pass I can do FP in a 30 day time for 7 consecutive days. Can I combine this with my reservation and do FP? Also my reservation is only for 4 of my 8 days (staying off property as well) so does that mean I can only make the reservations for the 4 days on property early?

The Split Stay section of the FP FAQ describes booking for Split Stays:

Just read. Where does the information come from? I am a annual passholder and can only book when off site at 30 day mark so I have to call each day can't do consecutive days, but the link you gave me states it is the same as onsite guests. I just called Disney to see if I have that opportunity as I didn't when I last went and they said no I can call each day at 30 day mark. Asked since I'm doing a split stay and not onsite during my whole trip.

You don’t call to book FPs you book them on the app 60 days prior to your onsite check-in.

Is your onsite stay first or last? If you read the section that applies to you, a 30-day window never applies when an AP or anyone stays onsite.

my onsite is at end of stay. I only called since last time I stayed offsite the whole time and it only let me do FP daily for the 30 day mark and I was told it should be for 7 days. Called yesterday to clarify and they stated I could only do it each day at 30 day mark. I can do the 60 days for the few days I am onsite.

No, when your 60 day window opens, it includes all those offsite park days and you can book for those days when the 60-day window opens.

Any person with an onsite stay never has a 30-day window...the 60-day window applies to you for your Split Stay.

CMs only have a 7-day window and they rarely stay onsite...they aren’t the best source for FP booking info.

Sorry for keep asking, I guess I'm confused. So I have a 60 days for the end of my stay since it's on property. My first 3 days are off property I get 30 days as season pass holder correct?

Not in this case because you have an onsite stay. Sixty days from the beginning of your onsite stay, all days during your stay will become available for FP booking. You can safely ignore what the CMs over the phone are telling you.

Also because 60 days from your onsite checkin day covers your off site stay you will be able to book the “pre-arrival” days at your 60 days. Because your onsite stay is less than 7 days you will still be held to a 7 day maximum with your AP. Pick a park day with less hard to get FP and once you use your first day of FP you will be able to book your “open” park day
