Fashion Experts - HELP!

There is an old "rule" of fashion that says that one can only wear white (shoes, pants, shorts, etc.) between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Will I be arrested by the fashion police (or become a Glamour "DON'T") if I wear white in Florida in April?

Nope. The weather can be warm in Florida in April. See lots of women wearing white in April here in Florida.

If the weather is warm, wear your white--it's so much more cooling than dark colors!

Hmmm...

I think the fashion police would have different rules for tropical climates.

Anyplace where white shorts, Mickey Mouse tshirts and sneakers is appropriate wear for nice restaurants will probably not be a place where the fashion police like to hang out much, anyway!

I've seen lots of people in white while at WDW in January and February!

But I personally wouldn't wear a pair of white pants or white shoes here in Virginia in the winter!

Tropical and sub-tropical climates are exempt from this rule....according to....ME! Here in Phoenix, where it's often in the 100's well past Labor Day, people mostly ignore this rule. I think of it mostly as a northern climate/big city rule.
