Farrell's- what day

After reading the rave reviews here, I was thinking of heading there for dinner one day in August. What's the best day to go? We have 6 day hoppers and are at the DLH Friday-Thursday. Possible times are (1) Friday night once we arrive (for a 4:30 dinner or so) (2) Sunday night (we could do 4:30 or 5 again) or (3) Monday night. Thoughts? Are weekends just a madhouse there?

I'm not really helpful, because I've never been there, but I was around the corner from them on a Saturday in May (actually on Cinco de Mayo) and it was a mob scene outside at around 4:30.

About a 45-60 minute line most fri/sat evenings. No line midday during the week. Don't know about weekday evenings or weekend lunch.

I would make reservations!! I have tried to go a few times at different times during the day and at night and the line is always anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours!! They used to have one locally but closed it many, many years ago so I think everyone is trying to relive their youth!! LOL!!

do they take reservations?!? I just assumed they didn't. If they did-that would be awesome and help with scheduling.

They do take reservation for parties of 8 or more. Luckily we are exactly a party of 8 and we got reservations and I'll be going for my birthday on Saturday June 30. Probably about 35 years after my last birthday party there! Can't wait!

I had made reservations for 4 but had to cancel. They didn't say anything about having to be a party of 8 or more. That is good to know.
