FarmVILLE on Facebook

It's the next day, now, and I harvested all the pumpkins, but no indication that they counted towards the co-op. My entire co-op history (except the ribbons) has been wiped out.

I noticed this morning that the Game Feed is back (with more than just one entry) on FarmVille.com.

So what are these "no gophers" signs I see here and there?

How do you get one?
:confused3

I found a way to publish a "Wish" for something that is not on your "Share a Wish" page. This works in IE (only, I think). On the "Share a Wish" page, on the address line, enter javascript:wish('xxxxxx'); where xxxxx is the FV string for that thing, i.e., 'dragonfly'.

Tons of scams on FB right now for the FV rare collectables and the foals.

Yep. I clicked to accept one, and it tried to get me to post that I had one. ***? So canceled that and now I'm paying closer attention. The wall post is very close to a real one, but it was from 'Farmville v' instead of just 'Farmville'.

I hope that one acceptance click did not do anything bad.

Found a partial explanation for co-op issues. Apparently people run into issues when two people have accounts on the same computer. Tried to start a co-op today (in work) and have my daughter join, but I was getting messages that the co-op was full or not active. Apparently, since I've signed onto both accounts from work and home, she won't be able to access any of my co-ops. Nice huh, like families don't share computers. :confused3

I just started farmville and only have 1 neighbor so far, so if anyone feels sorry for me and wants to be my neighbor please PM and I'll give you my info

And some say via via farmville. I also read where someone said they got a virus from clicking on the scams. Said they had just ran there virus checker, clicked on one of the scams, re-ran their antivirus and found 2 viruses. They said it was one of the ones for the Percheron foal that they fell for.

Yes. This serves as a great example. Please be so careful clicking on any Farmville post on Facebook.

If you accidently click a scam you are potentially giving the unknown application access to all your personal details on Facebook. This means they can literally send you (and all your friends) a virus or malware, they could use this opportunity to spam you with marketing material or simply watch your every move on Facebook.

I have written a blog post on the effects of allowing these scams to enter your system and how you can avoid them and even get rid of any existing fake groups that are accessing your information right now to do whatever they like.

Have a quick read here: Fake Farmville Posts - SCAM

I also urge you to share this page with your friends when you get there, spread the word, these scams have to stop!

There is a way to work around that. Use 2 different browsers. You use IE, your daughter can use Firefox, or vise-versa. I also have 2 accounts on one computer and use both browsers.
If you have a good enough computer, you can even have both up and running at the same time.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to give it a try. Unfortunately, my computer isn't the best, so I'm sure trying to run both at once who shut it down pronto.

LOL.

I know how that is. My own computer is very old and slow. I have enough trouble with just 1 running. :)

OK...what's up with the disappearing crops? I went to harvest and three of my plots are ready to plant and I KNOW I planted all of them this morning.

Anyone else having this problem?
:confused3

Dissapearing crops? First i've heard of that!

Happens to me all the time, but i usually rush through it and may leave some unseeded, haha.

It can be a very deceptive thing and all too easy to just miss one even though you swear you have clicked it! :confused3

When I harvested my crop this morning, all plots were accounted for...but then again...it doesn't always happen.
