Farewell to Kong Meet

Ok, is there any one up for meeting the afternoon of Sept. 8th to bid farewell to Kong? The park closes at 6 and we'd try to get the last train of Kong's operation... is anyone in?

True, but watch out.
Their happy hour stops at 5pm instead of 7pm like the other bars at citywalk. A bud draft costs $4.50, ouch. I'd stick with the mixed drinks so you don't have to use the bathroom as much.

NASCAR Cafe has $1.50 Drafts (Bud and Bud Light) all day everyday, not just for HH.

3: Meet at MIB
After that we'll wander and do whatever we want...
5:00: Meet at Kong/Finnegan's

Those who can't make it at 3 will meet us by Finnegan's across from Kong at 5:00... what do you think?

BTW, I like the rumor that they're putting Kong in storage in anticipation of a third park. Maybe the theme could be a time warp: You enter the gates and getted zapped back in time where you can ride Kong, see the Rocky & Bullwinkle street show, go to Ghostbusters, etc., etc.

Are we going to try for the last ride? If so, I'm thinking towards the end of the event we just wait inside the entrance and let everyone pass until they close it off. I think that'd be a neat thing to say that you got to ride the last Kong tram.

I'm going to be meeting some people at 12:30 (fellow BTTF fans). Jag offered in another thread to host a impromptue triva game between Mike and I. I assume this will be sometime around 5:30 or so at Finnegan's. Will there still be people meeting at MIB at 3:00?
