farewell Big "O"

Uh, you might want to rethink the thread title. There was some DIS outrage when Overstock.com used this same phrase in their ads a few years ago - that it somehow had a double meaning not appropriate for kids :confused3

Thanks for the link, though!

Yep, Big 0 notation is used in computer science when writing algorithms or in cryptography when trying to predict behavior. It has a more complex meaning in general mathematics.

Now, if you are talking about the non-Dis friendly Big-O I'm sure there are plenty of people who said goodbye years ago based on their "I'm posting this under a different name" threads.

:lmao:

who in their right mind would say bye to the big O?

Knowing her struggles with her weight over the years, I highly doubt that she would take kindly to being called "Big O" . . .

Thank God, she is finally gone.

:worship:

they way she is going out, you'd think she was dying...it's not like she's going to be visible anymore...

and I'm not backing down on my thread title to appease any DISgruntled posters...so there!

I never watched Oprah's show, but I am familiar with her life story. She has truly led an only-in-America life and I wish her well.
