Fantasyland during Hallowishes Question

I have a quick question about Fantasyland rides during Hallowishes, specifically 7DMT. DH and I are attending the party on two different nights in September and this was a last minute trip, so we were not able to snag FP for 7DMT.

My hope was to use one party night for all the party stuff and then the other night for focusing on the rides that may have longer lines during the day (7DMT included).

I know Fantasyland attractions close during fireworks, so should we try to hit the line for 7DMT (or hang in the general area) during fireworks and jump in line as soon as it reopens? Or is there a better strategy?

(FWIW - I use to hang around here a lot years ago as "TinkBride" but couldn't retrieve my log in info, so I am no newbie )

1. Not all of them close. (In fact, very few do close.)
If 7DMT does close or even if it does not...

I can't remember what stays open and what doesn't during fireworks (been a while since I have been in FL at night aside from MNSSHP and MVMCP). DH hasn't experienced the new FL yet, so we will be hitting that area for sure during the party.

7DMT does not usually close during the fireworks. A lot of people want to see the party fireworks, so you might luck out and get a shorter line. In any event, we like to watch the fireworks from that area. On Main Street it seems like someone tall either steps out in front of me at the last minute, or the person in front of me holds up an ipad to record when it starts so being short, I don't see much. Back by the New Fantasyland walls, a bunch of people will be watching-- but not so many that you can't spread out. The fireworks are all around you. You do miss any projections and seeing them over the front of the castle- but at least for me, as a short person, it is a good trade off.

Since, in this thread, we are specifically discussing Hallowishes, its worth noting that Hallowishes doesn't have the
copious and integral castle-projections that does the non-party HEA fireworks show in MK, so nothing to "miss" in this case.

True - the only projection I can remember is the ghosts at the beginning.

Either way, we are doing the party twice, so we have another chance to see the full show during our additional party.
