Fantasy Springs is opening June 6th 2024

So tmobile data was okay to book at HE at the entrance but too slow for video?
While we were waiting in line to get in it didn’t work. Once we scanned into the park and started walking around it started working. The Tokyo Disney app was basically the only thing I could get to load though. I couldn’t even search on google inside the park

Sounds like need to get a pocket wifi for us then. Dear son needs his internet. Any suggestions by chance?

Tmobile at disneysea? Anyone with that info?

I use T-mobile high speed data included with Magenta or Go5G in addition to a local SIM.
It always works fine for me but you should learn how to switch your phone from 5G to 4G to 3G for situations when there's large crowds and certain bandwidths have heavy usage. I usually have issues with 5G when waiting for Believe to start but 3G generally works.

We had a pocket wifi and it didn’t work at Disney at all. We had to rely on data

Which pocket wifi company did you use? It worked elsewhere in Japan?

I have had fantastic service with the T-Mobile international pass this trip but haven’t done Disney yet. I found I did have to restart a couple times to get it to lock in to SoftBank initially. I will make sure to restart on my first Disney day to see if that helps. Since I’m just one person I didn’t want to lug around a pocket WiFi (purse is already so heavy LOL) and couldn’t do eSIM since locked.

Our data in the parks was 256 kb per second.

We used Japan Wireless. Disney was the only place it didn’t work. Dh said it worked a little in DisneySea but not great

If you’re planning to buy shirts at Tokyo Disney make sure to size up. I bought smalls thinking they would fit and they’re all short/tight. I wasn’t smart enough to try them on there before we left 🤦🏻‍♀️😕
Or anywhere in Japan! Definitely try on clothes if you can. Everything there is sized differently.

Let me know if you have your heart set on anything as I will be there starting tomorrow and can always try to grab something and ship it from the US, I have plenty of room in my luggage (did a lot less shopping in Tokyo than I thought :hyper:

I had to size up in everything at Uniqlo which I expected. Hoping they have some L at TDR in something as that’s probably what i need (and I heard often only smalls are left)

I found TDR clothing to be sized smaller than other places I bought clothes from. One of my shirts is a XL but is the length and fit of a US medium.

That’s really nice of you. I’ll send you a pm

At TDR it was mostly all M and L. Smalls were actually hard to find. We did see some LL (which I assume is XL) but those were rare. Some shirts were even M/L as one size. The majority of Fantasy springs shirts were sized that way and it was the only option so for me they were huge.

I found in some stores in Japan, shirts were in plastic bags so you couldn't try them on. I remember some shirts in Uniqlo were like that but noticed this mostly in stores that sold anime memorabilia. I ended up guessing what size I was since I couldn't try it on.

The shirts we bought in Hakone were in plastic bags too

You can probably sell your smalls on eBay and make a small fortune with how much of an upcharge there is for TDR stuff in the US :rotfl:

The Fantasy Springs shirt I got is a small but that one isn’t as small for some reason. The mint colored small shirt I got it the shortest for sure and tighter

Been wondering about this, I had Sprint when I first went in 2018, had no problems, but had been seeing mixed reviews for T-Mobile. If I can avoid dealing with a pocket wi-fi (which had been recommended by people who had issues) that would be nice.
