Not Cruise related but has anyone stayed up at Hilton Head, I would dearly love some advice

Hi we booked this cruise and it will be our first time cruising. It will be Dh, and our 3 children two sons 17 & 8 and a 7 year old daughter.

We would like to participate in the FE.

Our longest cruise was a 14night Transatlantic on the Magic and it couldnt have been better - would loved to have had even more time on board.

I like the idea of a transatlantic cruise but not sure I could handle not being able to get off the boat for quite a few days.

We 1st tried a 3 day cruise and loved it, now to see if I can handle the 7 day one. I get bored very easily.

Are you staying at WDW before or after your cruise?

This year we are staying at Universal before the cruise, then flying home directly afterwards unfortunately.

Longest at sea on the TA was 5 days but the time flew by anyway - I was amazed at how little time we had to be bored - always something to do - then get dressed for show and dinner lol

looking at Cozumel Tours on the Web - looks reasonable - might try the jeep tour if its not too rough terrain

We are new to the board and so exciting about our upcoming first Disney Cruise!! We are interested in signing up for Fish Extenders and looking to meet some people with kids our kids ages!! At time of sailing my daughter will be 13 and my son 10 (2 weeks shy of 11)!! My son and I will both be celebrating our birthdays!!! Can't wait……..Super Excited!!!

Hi there! You will have a blast! I have a daughter who will be 13 (a week from 14) and a daughter who is 9 on the cruise. I also will have a 16 yr old son.
There isn't an FE started on this meet thread, yet but plenty of time left so maybe one will be started soon.

Welcome! I'm on deck 10 but the decks are pretty big so we might be closer than people on the same deck depending on where your stateroom is (aft, midship or forward).
Fish extenders are a group of people who exchange gifts on the cruise. I think there is probably a pinned post here that describes more. I have never done one so don't know all the details. There isn't one started on this meet thread, yet, but 7 months still to go.

We just booked, Cabin 7536. We are DH Bill 50, DW Carol 50, and DS Stephen 9 but will turn 10 while on the cruise. This will be our first cruise on the Fantasy, we did a Halloween on the Magic in 2011. We had such a great time that we had to do it again. We would be interested in joining in the FE if it gets established.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done right in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

I think the question should be whether there are boys not addicted to video games! I have a 15 (soon to be 16) year old that lives and breathes games.
