The last time we went on a Merrytime cruise (2014) over Christmas this board was VERY active. Did a Breakfast Kids meet, 1st day meet/greet, Mixology... And a VERY active FE 4 groups of 12 cabins. Great fun! The cruise PIF was yesterday and I thought it would have picked up. Oh well... cruise will still be AWESOME

Hi Fantasy Christmas Cruise friends. In anticipation of the cruise I came across the FE group. It looks like our cruise doesn't have a coordinator, and I'd be happy to take on that role with the understanding that I've never done it and don't really know what it is. It sounds like a lot of fun to do, though, so with lots of grace and mercy, I'll be the coordinator. And if anyone can tell me what to do to get started, let me know.

Kris Bailey - I was going to post the same thing today. I asked the same question on a Facebook group and pretty much got the same response you did. It sounds super easy, basically the coordinator keeps a list of groups interested (with DIS board name), their room number, how many people and possibly their ages. Most places suggest capping the group at 15, and then you hang an extender on your door and voila.. surprise treats for everyone. Some lists get more information such as names, where they are from etc.

As you can see I'm definitely interested.

I'm kind of tech-tarded so still trying to figure it all out. Looks like you have to set up a Conversation and then when people ask to be part of the group then the person who started the Conversation can add them in. Kind of like a private FB group. To start a Conversation you had to have 10 posts which I've done. Trying to figure out how to start a Conversation.

I took the initiative and started a FE group. Please let me know if you are interested. I will take new members until November 12, 2016 or we get 20 members whichever comes first. Last call will go out 4 weeks before and I will be bumping people if they don't respond within a week. So be on the lookout for that around thanksgiving.
