We were just on the Fantasy and stayed in Navigator Verandah cabin 8520. The view was only obstructed in the upper left corner of the verandah. It was something that wasn't even noticed. We are looking to sail again, same ship, and would like the Navigator's Verandah. However, the cabin we had is not available. I couldn't find much information in the stateroom reports. Has anyone stayed in cabin 7520, 9012 or 9512? If so, how obstructed was the view? Thanks so much!

How was 8520? I'm pondering switching to that one, but the connecting door has me a little nervous.

We stayed in 9012 and didn't even "notice" the obstruction. It was just a little in the upper corner. I would stay in it again!!!

We were first time Disney cruisers. The view was great. I wouldn't even call it an obstruction. We're looking to book the cabin again! A little bit of a walk from the forward elevators, but not a big deal. Heard/felt no vibrations like others mention regarding aft cabins. Plenty of space for 2A and 1C.

I've been searching and searching for 7A's for the past few days...I haven't been able to find much. There are a few on YouTube, and a few photos here. I couldn't find any on the cabin pictures thread either (did I miss them?). The best I found were looking at the pictures on the DIS that show's the stateroom #'s over the ship. Seems like the higher the stateroom, the less obstructed the cabin. Then my next issue was if they would hold 4 people (there is a thread on this too but some of the Fantasy rooms are different than the Dream - i.e. 7520 can hold 4 but I don't think that it shows on the thread)

I gave up and ended up booking a 5D for $200 more. LOL

Any noise from the connector?

We're staying in 9012 but on the Dream. I wonder if the obstruction is the same for the two ships.

We loved 7520, but the obstruction was more than what you're describing. For our weather it was great as it served as a wind break.

No noise from the connector. Didn't even know we had neighbors!

Thanks! It looks to be slightly more forward than 9512, which I am currently in, and I love being forward...but I love being higher. So now to decide...

We had 7522 and 7524 last year and I remember looking at 7520 and thinking that the obstruction was about a quarter of the balcony

We stayed in 7520 on our last cruise in 2015. Loved the room so much that my husband and I are staying in 7022 (port side this time) for our upcoming southern Caribbean cruise. What I liked about it so much was that even though it had the obstruction, you got the full size balcony room for a slightly cheaper price. It was great! I don't remember if it can hold 4 or not but my mom, my sister, and I stayed in the room comfortably on that 2015 cruise and we're all adults.

We've stayed in 9012, and the obstruction was not bad at all. In fact, we've booked it a few times since:)

Was this on the Fantasy? Do you have any pics, by chance? We're staying in this room but on the Dream, so I wasn't sure if they are comparable.

We have stayed in it on both the Dream and the Fantasy. The room are identical. I have been trying to upload a photo, but I'm not having any luck. I will PM you if I can figure it out.

We had 8022 on the Dream and loved it. We will have it again on the Fantasy this year.

We have also had 9652 on the Fantasy and did not like it as much. It was still a good deal and I would take it if it were the only one, but there are 3 poles to the side that can bock the view. In this picture you can see it blocks what would have been a nice shot of the sun set.

Can you post a pic of obstruction on 9012 on the Dream? If you can't post it, can you pm me? Thank you! !

I'm pretty sure most 7As on the Dream class only sleep 3, no pull down or Murphy bed. There's a good thread on here somewhere that lists for the Dream class which rooms sleep how many.

We have had 4 guests in both 8022 and 9652. Both had the pull down bed. I believe the 7As on the classic ships only hold 3.
