Fantasy Menu Pictures and Schedule

I was just wondering if the end of the menu is altered if that is your show night in animators because I know the appetizers are altered if it is the night they do the show

No. Our last night was in Animators, and it was the animation show. The appetizers are different, but the entrees & desserts remain true to the See Ya Real Soon menu.

A friend of mine went on the Fantasy and they do not serve Baked Alaska on the new ships only the Magic and Wonder.

Baked Alaska was served to us on our Dec 8th cruise on the Fantasy.

We were on 3/16 fantasy--we had dessert choices of baked alaska or the trio (or both, like in my case!). Soup was popcorn soup choice only, appetizer one choice only, entree was several. This was all in the hard cover menu however--they took the placemat animations long before we ordered.

I ordered an appetizer from the kids menu sometimes--they had more normal choices.

That was my least favorite menu of any cruise ever!!!!!

Yes, they have a new menu with the new show. Did anyone else try the Popcorn soup? We all tried it and only 1 out of 3 thought it was any good. I willing to try anything once but, I'm hoping the offer another soup selection by next year.

soup was awefull!

Yes, that is how it worked for us. We were only given the option of if we wanted the popcorn soup or not. There was not another option offered to anyone at our table that I am aware of.

As I posted a second ago. You can request a different app, but you should look at the menu the night before. I will replace the soup with maybe a ceaser salad or something. IF they know in advance, they can be more accomodating!

Since we were on the MV at the time, we didn't know the other menu items, and the servers definiately were not in the loop for special requests from the other dining rooms. On our cruise last week this wasn't an issue since we were prepared. :)

So if we are in AP the night of the Captain Gala menu, we will still have the option of the Lobster tail?? TIA

Yes, the last three nights in AP offer the unique app menu, but have the same entree menu as the other MDRs those nights. If your last night in AP was semiformal night, you would have lobster as an option for the entree. Just adding that the lobster on last week's cruise was perfect, just like we had enjoyed on the classics. I went on the galley tour and asked the chef if they had worked out the timing for having to prepare the increased quantity for the Fantasy. He asked when I had cruised and when I told him the MV he shook his head and said they had definitely corrected the problem since then.

I tried it on our cruise last month. They now serve the carmel corn in a dish on the side since some people didn't care for it added to the soup. I honestly didn't care for it. I also didn't like the fact that the carmel corn stuck in my teeth worse with the hot soup.

Thank you so much for posting these! I am an "adventurous" eater... I'll try anything once (or twice) and my husband is a VERY VERY VERY picky eater. Like the vain of my existence picky :faint:. I found the menus elsewhere but glad to have them here on the Dis so I can have him look at them more thoroughly to prepare. He did however say that he would actually try some new or different things on this trip but I want him to be prepared for what "new or different" could mean... New or different for him normally means a nibble of a vegetable or a different seasoning LOL, but he seems excited to try snails so we'll see!!

PS...

Thanks for making me want to leave TOMORROW!!! UGH, 173 days left :furious: I. Cant. Take. It.

Do they change the menus choices often? I'm hoping they are consistent because I think after reading each one, I'll go to Remy on Prince and Princess night... And put in a request for the ERAERRA dining rotation (so I'd miss a 2nd night at the enchanted garden... And def don't want to miss animators!)

Thanks for posting the menus and rotations lbgraves!! You are awesome and have really helped my planning!

These were the ones we were given on the Maiden Voyage. They were the same on our 3/23/13 cruise.
