Fantasy made it to Castaway Cay

I haven’t been on the Fantasy recently enough to notice, to be honest. New carpet, possibly new TV in the stateroom. The door frame to my balcony looks new. Fresh paint around . . . Ship in “Ship Shape”. Buena Vista seats still uncomfortable. There was a mention of “exit lights” to follow in case of emergency? Hadn’t heard that before?

We were on board for the Norway cruise and get back on this February. She definitely needed a lot of paint work in September. Looks like a great day for CC.

They key word for the entertainment on the transatlantic was TECHNICAL ISSUES
Also the new screen on the pooldeck had major errors in it (not just a few pixels.
We didnt get a lot of the fun ta activities such as the costuming and puppeteering workshop. We also didnt get the MainStage q&a (vibe did)
Characterwise we only got the Spanish costumes, the other European costumes only appeared in a mixed groupphoto

Gotta be honest, this cruise could have been better. I guess I am just getting old but the kids running up and down the hallways at Midnight got to me. Too many inattentive parents. Was almost tripped before I even got to my cabin on the first day. I know it's a "family" cruise, but there are also adults who are part of a family. Seemed like it was a ship of children running the place.

I'd prefer PIRATES! Where is Johnny Depp when you need him?

Entertainment was a juggler and a ventriloquist. Not that there's anything wrong with that but . . . seemed very 1950's.

The food at Cabanas got progressively worse as the days went on . . . to the point where I only would go for breakfast, which was already just so-so. The Pool Food was OK but never quite hot enough for me. Luke warm at best.

Last year we got TWO firework shows, too!

Love the ship. Loved my cabin. Service was really good. But I was mostly disappointed.

Vibe was way different than the TA last year on the Dream. I didn't sign up for a placeholder for another cruise. I am Platinum now and I guess won't ever get my 'free' Palo meal! Oh well.

(Ate at Palo 3 times - it was excellent and a welcome respite.)

Agree about the vibe and about the very mediocre Cabanas food (which I normally prefer over the main dining) talking about main dining; of course it makes complete sense to offer the Frozen menu on any other night than the actual Frozen-shownight hahaha

I skipped eating at the MDR so was actually 'foraging' for food! Didn't order room service. Menu seems to be getting smaller and smaller.
