Fantasy Land

Do the lines in Fantasy Land shorten after 9:00 pm when the parks are open until midnight? I'm hoping most of the families with little little ones will be wiped out and tucked in by that time. (Heck, I may be wiped out and tucked in by that time!) My 10 year old niece has never been to Disney so Fantasyland is a must do this trip. YIKES THE CROWDS! My 8 year old daughter, this is trip # 5 for her so we could have skipped right over the long lines this trip...but......

I have little ones, but we took a long afternoon break and then headed back to the parks until 10 or 11 p.m. Fantasyland was very empty though during the Spectro parade. We saw it our first night there and then took advantage of the non-lines on our visit a few nights later. I would say the very best way to avoid long lines is to be at the park right at opening. We also made a PS for Crystal Palace BEFORE the park opened on a non-EE day. This worked really well.

Generally, the Fantasyland lines do tend to shrink as the night goes on. You'll notice a partial reduction after the first parade and, assuming there are two on the late night, more so afterwards. The last hour or two, the crowds have shrunk quite a bit. That's not to say that during the busy time of year things will be walk-on, but the wait shouldn't be as bad as it will be during the normal course of the day.

Great...that's what I was hoping...We do intend to do EE, but I kind of figured that late evening..would give us another option.
