Fantasy June 29, 2013 Meet Up!

I have been swamped with getting all my Princess marathon weekend plans this week.

We are wrapping up the school year (they kids get out a week from tomorrow) so I have to get through that first. Plus the more I talk about it, the more difficult I am finding it to concentrate on anything else

I can't stop looking at the calendar.....

Ohhh, something that I just thought about...

HYATT MCO folks...how will we identify one another? I don't recall if we introduced ourselves on FB by name or not, LOL. I have my picture in my FB profile. And I will be with hubby, two teen girls (one with orange hair, but it changes often so it may be a different color by then, LOL) and one 9-year boy.

I know the plan is to meet about 6:00 at the pool, right? Depending on how long it takes to get our bags, we should be there around that time or shortly afterwards (also depends on if I can coordinate three kids to get into swimsuits when they are excited to be there, LOL).

We just got out of school, so now we're really down to business. My goal today is to get my pile of stuff somewhat organized, but we still need to do some major shopping for both the girls.

We leave in 10 days, and cannot wait!

OK cool - I think 7 is probably a more realistic time for us too (depending on how hungry the kids are when we arrive). It will only be 4 in the afternoon for us (CA time), so that will throw things off. Most likely we will get settled in and then grab sandwiches or McDonalds-type food and bring it with us to eat by the pool.

I believe there are a number of restaurants right inside the airport. I'll look around online to see if I can find a list of what it close by the Hyatt. I think they also have their own restaurant.

We just finished the shopping push last weekend (DS's dress pants were too small so back to the mall I went ).

So both kids have piles of clothes in their rooms and I have a section of closet that I have been putting things into. But now I have to begin the process of organizing outfits and arranging things so everyone has at least one nice outfit, one bathing suit and one casual outfit in each suitcase (in case one suitcase gets lost).

for her bathing suit from last year!! I wish that would happen to me. I thought I was done shopping but glad I found out now! Back to the store for buying bathing suit and more shoes!

Doin' the single digit countdown dance! We're leaving in 8 days. FE goodies are mostly assembled and have even started packing a few things. ADR's are all made, but flexible to accommodate meets.

2 weeks from today we will be onboard the Fantasy!!!

I am super excited and nervous at the same time. I need to get so much done before we leave and now the clock is ticking!

but, my daughter will be 11 at the end of July. What kids club are those people with my daughters age sending their kids to? Not sure where to try to get her. Also, who is traveling with a daughter the same age that wouldn't mind meeting up a little earlier to have them go to the club together?

Julie, Hannah turned 11 in April and plans to go into the Edge, though she wants to check out the Lab and do some of the things like Flubber. I think we exchanged emails for the kids earlier on but I'm not sure if they've reached out to each other.

Hannah is emailing with another girl, Emily, who is also going to be in the Edge. I think the plan right now is for them to get together at the 3pm meet and then figure out where to go from there.

I definitely would feel more comfortable the more there are in the group. I don't want Hannah wandering the ship by herself at all.

We want to see Monsters University and Lone Ranger, for sure.
Don't they usually do a midnight show when a movie comes out (meaning the Lone Ranger will run at midnight on July 2nd). Anyone know if that will also be the show in the Walt Disney Theater on July 3rd? I'm thinking yes, since I think they released Nemo 3D when we were on the Wonder and it was the show of the night.

Welcome!!!! The group meet will be in the Tube at 3:00 pm (boarding day). I think you can find the FB group by searching on the date like it is shown in this thread. It is a closed group so you will get an email from the admin asking to confirm your DIS user name. (I think that is right, LOL).
