Completely agree with this. We buy insurance but not through Disney. We live in PA and so much could go wrong with the weather. Some insurance policies don't take effect until 24 or 48 hours after a flight gets canceled. We always buy a policy that starts the minute a flight gets delayed. You really have to read the fine print.

yes, if you go to Disney cruise line website and look under Gifts and Amenities you will see the Star Wars merchandise catalog. You can't place an order for any of this merchandise until you put in your reservation # etc. We have until December 23 to place the order - pick up the merchandise on board the Fantasy. Hope that helps.

Regardless, does anyone know about the dining rotation yet? I've been reading about them from other cruises, but not sure if anything has come out for this one. The SWDAS seems to be changing things. For the better, of course!

We just made the difficult decision to cancel our reservation. We really wanted to try to make it work, but the Canadian dollar is so bad right now that the exchange is really killing us. Can't make it happen.

We are still going to go to WDW but we have to scale it back just a bit and find a cheaper way.

Good thing we didn't tell the kids! They would never forgive us.

7 night cruise three dining rooms + SWDAS + Pirates =5 id'd meals leaves 2 repeats on the rotation. those would be good for Palo or Remy or Cabana or whatever it is called on the Fantasy. Your rotation order won't be known until you check in at Port Canaveral.

As far as I can tell, you do eat in one of the rotation restaurants for SWDAS and pirate night, but the menus are different for the special nights. I have read that it's nice to be in certain restaurants on certain nights, and that the special show in Animator's Palatte (?) is only on the first night of the rotation (so I wouldn't want to miss that). Just trying to figure it all out!

There was a separate thread about our dining rotation guesses. Nights 1 and 2 will be regular rotation so the Crush show if you are in AP. Day 3 will be Pirates night with the Pirates menu. Day 5 is SWDAS. The rest seems to be a guess.

And on those special nights all rotational locations have the same menu.
