So happy to see we are not the only ones so excited for this cruise.

We would be interested in doing the FE as well. I am keeping track of the FE list in a spreadsheet so if you need me to share it anytime I would be happy to.

Ahoy everyone,we are booked for this sailing.It will be my DW,DS(15)DS(12)and myself.We are sailing on the Magic Feb 18 7 night Western in a couple of weeks.Actually flying down on the 15th to stay at coronado springs for a 3 day WDW precruise.

We booked the Feb 16 2013 cruise a couple of weeks ago,usually this week coincides with the boys school vacation.I think this will be our 6th or 7th Disney Cruise

We want to experience one of the new ships,but I know we'll miss the cozy feeling of the Magic.

You are FAR from the only ones excited about this cruise!! We are too! Where in Chicago are you? We are way west -- think cornfields west. We used to live in Bucktown and Humboldt Park...

Right now we are in Ottawa (apporx 5 miles from Starved Rock State Park) and trust me I understand cornfields. We will be relocating to Elburn once our house sells. I took a promotion with our company to work out of corporate in Hoffman Estates. My husband grew up on the south side and moved down here from Alsip.

Hello Freezin and aboard! In our cabin it is just DH and me. Well, unless you count the DST's (Disney Stuffed Things) that travel with us too. There's a group of 20 something or more of us that all met on the DVC member cruise last year and the year before also traveling together. So far I think we've managed to secure Deck 9 aft

Just jumpin in to say "HI"! I know it's a year away, but I am SO excited about this cruise!! Terrie - THANK YOU for the countdown!!!! I've missed those!! I mean after all I've been looking at those countdowns for the last two years!! LOL

We're still not sure if we're gonna participate in the FE. I'm thinking we will only because we'll have the kiddo's with us and I know how excited they are to help pass out the FE gifts and even more excited to see what they get when we return to our stateroom each night!

We are up the road from you in a suburb of Rochelle. My wife and I grew up in the far south suburbs. When you move to Elburn, make sure that you go to the Elburn Meat Market. They have wonderful national award winning sausages and smoked meat, along with great 'plain' meat.

Welcome Freezin! This ship may not be as small as the originals but if you want cozy, you will be able to find it on the Fantasy.

Small world as I know exactly where Rochelle is. Our summer place is in Sublette - ever hear of Woodhaven Lakes?

Well then ... mission accomplished Miss you bunches too and so does Wally Oh and I will be bringing the scary magnet you made for me on the Fantasy Maiden Voyage next month. Since none of the DISpeeps are on that sailing then all's y'alls will just have to be there in spirit with me somehow

Hi everybody I just booked this cruise on Friday, and while I wanted to post right away, I had done it in secret so the family didn't know until last night. Totally surprised them; we were sitting eating a late lunch before the Superbowl, and our discussion turn to Disney and the Disney cruise. I played some mickey the dunce for a while pretending I didn't know they wanted to go, then told them we should book right away since they were booking up. After letting them worry for a bit, I told them I had just booked our cabin on Friday.
We got a 4D Deluxe Family Oceanview with veranda, cabin 6096.
This will be our 5th Disney cruise, first with a veranda. We can't wait to see the Fantasy; we met up with some Dis folks on our last cruise, we can't wait for this one.
It will be me, DW, and 2 kids, DD who will be 16 then, and DS who will be 14.

gallaj0!!! What a fun way to surprise your family!! My DS will be 13 (halfway to 14) when we cruise. Gosh that sounds so weird! I can't believe I'm going to have a teenager in the house before this year is over!!
