Fantasy Deck 9 MidShip

Hello,
Just found out our room is on Deck 9, Midship, Port Side. We've always been assigned rooms towards the Aft (hoping for 5E's) and have not been mid yet or Port Side. Anyone with experience in this location? It looks like we are very close to elevators...wondering about noise. Also how is the Port side for views while at ports?

I am a forward section girl, but I love Port side. IMHO the undeveloped side of Castaway (which is what Port usually faces) is the prettier side.

We always book deck 9 midship, though we book starboard side. We love that area.

My parents were just in a mid ship deck 9 room on the Fantasy, but they were starboard side. They were right by the opening to the elevator. They liked their room location a lot and reported that it was quiet. They would stay there again.

We have cruised on the fantasy 3 times (9564)and don't want to be anywhere else. (the only reason we aren't there for this cruise is the room was booked) Once you are in the room you never hear the elevators. I love being near the stairs and running up to cabana's or the soda station. It's also a nice walk up to the pool decks for my relaxation time!! I think you will love it.

We've been on 9 port side by the aft stairs/elevators twice and loved it. No noise, convenient access to pools, good views.

We were in 9074 and loved the location. Convenient to get to almost everywhere. Heard no hallway noise except for the last night.

We were just on deck 8 midship near the elevator and loved it. Never heard the elevator and no hallway noise.
