HI All,

I just booked the January 10th eastern on the Disney Fantasy and am wondering if anyone has stayed in Cabin 8596. I have a few questions

Does it have the extra bed?

Does it have the clear or solid veranda wall?

how long is the upper bunk? My son is 5'8"

I asked the cruise person and she did not have the answers to any of these

I appreciate any information or even pictures if you have them

thanks

I've asked the same question about 8594 (without response) that I'm in next year. The Murphy bed really makes these larger suites for a taller one more comfortable.

Looks good to me. It does have that unknown grey area across the hall though. Usually that grey area isn't an issue.

Dream Class 8596, cat 4b, sleeps 4 pax max. Two on queen bed, one on couch, and one on bunk. It has a ceiling bunk not a wall murphy. It has a clear plexi veranda. This veranda does have the skinnage on the aft side of veranda fwiw. Read thread backwards if desired, after looking at pics; http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2655554

Have you seen this exterior pic? ; http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t177/HallsofVA/7012f594.jpg

You could check room reports of cabins nearby; http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomlist.cfm

Not sure exactly how long bunk is, but I have read many reports of large folks being satisfied with bunk. IIRC the weight limit is 250 #. I believe the bunk is a standard twin size. ? ? ? I'll guess the length of mattress is 76 - 79 inches.

Still looking for Fantasy info the Dream has small differences than the Fantasy

I'm going to join in here since we are booked in this cabin for the Aug. 16 sailing. Read the reviews of nearby rooms so looks to be perfect but always good to hear first hand.

I am beginning to wonder if this is a secret room. No one has reviewed it on any cruise site and no one has responded. Maybe it is like the Room of Requirements and only appears when needed and has everything you need or want in it. That would be sweet :)

This post cracked me up--fellow hp fan here. Sorry, I have no idea, but you can pretend it's your own room of requirement. You'll have everything you need! :)

My partner and I will be in this very cabin on the May 3 sailing. While we will not be using the sofa bed or or the pull down bunk, I can certainly report back on everything else about the room!

I stayed in 8594 on the Fantasy in May 2013.

It does not have an extra bed.

It has a clear veranda wall.

Unsure, my 5 year old daughter slept in the upper bunk but I would think a normal sized adult would fit.

Thank you so much for the pictures. I was worried that the verandah was partially blocked because the same room on the Dream is blocked on one side
