Ok I can't find the old template we used, but between the two that I did we emailed a spreadsheet.

The information on the sheet was

Stateroom (obviously too soon for that)
Names in Family
Ages
Allergies/Preferences (i.e. No liquor etc)
Favorite Character

Someone started it and then we all shared it like a google doc I think.

We also did our meet the first day at the coffee bar in the atrium on the same level as the photography place. Because their experience was that the pools were too crowded to get a group together. It seemed to work well.

I am happy to start a spreadsheet if that is helpful.

FYI one of the best resources I have found for information about FE's besides the DIS is the group "FISH EXTENDER DISNEY CRUISE LINE" Lots of awesome resources and people who have done TONS before so great ideas and answers to questions!

According to my iPad, I've scrolled through 300 threads and I still don't see ours. I'm going to continue in here until I see something different.

You need to contact a webmaster to have them transfer this thread to the cruise meet forum. This is the main cruise discussion forum.

Thanks! I'm wondering, though... Why when I go into the meet links, click on our cruise date, I'm directed back to this thread? Am I missing something?

It is because the thread was opened in the general cruise information forum. The link is in the thread that has all the links for that year's cruises on the meet forum. The thread just needs to be redirected to that same forum. It just helps to keep the info forum for general questions instead of being filled with cruise meets. There use to be just one forum and this just helps to organize things a bit.

Did you give the link to this thread to the moderator over there? If they didn't check where the link went to and just put it in there, that's why.

Maybe ask the moderator on the cruise meets forum to *move* this thread over there? It's not that it's a bad thing to see it in this forum, but if everyone started doing it...


Oh and by the way, I now know that San Juan and St Maarten are great. We did a walking tour of the two forts in SJ during our recent RCCL cruise, and even though all we did in St M was wander the touristy shops (including That Yoda Guy's place) on the Dutch side it was still lovely. I've never seen the sort of foliage that was on the hill above the port before. So pretty!

Hi everyone, I JUST booked our family cruise for 4/11/15. This will be our first cruise EVER and and I cannot wait! It will be me, my husband and our 2 daughters who are currently 10 and 5 years old.

This is my first post to the DIS boards so I hope I'm in the correct spot! I appreciate any advice from you experienced cruisers out there.

We would love to participate in a Fish Extender group as well.

I'm new(er) as well and from what I understand this thread is technically in the wrong place, however, we seem to be finding each other just fine. I'm not worried. I think as time draws nearer, we can figure out the whole FE thing! I can't wait!!!

Wow, you're really ahead of the game! I have everything I make the actual Fish Extender pockets, now I just have to get everything cut out and get sewing.

Does anyone know how many people typically participate in a given fish extender exchange? I know it's WAAAYYY early, but I was just curious how many FE gifts are in my crafting future
