Single Dad going on the Aug 4 Western Carribean Fantasy cruise with my 2 children their cousin and Grandma, a little concerned I wont have much to do, can anybody quell my fears? just wanted to make contact before the trip

also a single parent going on my first cruise (ever ) with my 2 semi grown daughters - people at wk who have been have LOVED it and said there's tons to do with or without a partner we've booked 3 shore excursions and plan on catching lots of movies and just plan relaxing - inbox if you have any concerns - can understand your concerns though!!!

Hi, in the same boat (pun intended) single Dad traveling with my two daughters. My fear is that I will not see them again once we hit the ship . They are so excited about the teen and tween gathering places.

Sounds Great, I look forward to talking with her, and @goofygwt ...My daughter is going to turn 13 on this trip and her cousin 14 they are also looking forward to the dance places and their place to hang out, along with my 9 year old son who will spend 8 hours a day in the water if I would let him, I am so stoked for them to have this experience and it will make my vacation to see them happy (but Daddy needs some magic too)

Hi there, just replied to your email - you are in!!

Need to sleep now as it's 'tomorrow' in England, sooooo... if you want to join the FE and haven't told me (I have replied to all the messages I have recieved) then please email me on karen@bracegirdle.uk.net by the time I get back from church in the morning (8am EST!!) as then I'll be making the final list.

Also I'm still missing lots of stateroom numbers, please could you let me know as soon as you get them? Thanks!

The week befores cruises have received their VGT etc...this past few days, so my bet is you will get them sometime this coming week....fingers crossed

Wow I was getting nervous for a bit because I had ordered part of my FE gift on-line last month and got 15. I think we only had about 8 families at the time and I thought I'd have more than enough. I had no idea how many people would join late since this is my first time participating in one. Luckily there are 16 families and when you factor my own out, I have exactly enough! Wheeewwww!! I was biting my nails the last couple of days...

As for formal and semi-formal nights. On formal night I am wearing a full-length silky gown (I think it's a prom dress, got it at Windsor for $15 in the sale section .) I am renting my husband a tux that will be delivered to our room. I did this because he needed a suit jacket for Remy and he didn't want to pack his. So he can wear the tux for formal night, and wear the jacket with another shirt and tie to Remy. My teenage daughter is wearing a short dress that she plans on wearing to homecoming in October. My younger daughter has a cute dress and both sons will be wearing long sleeve shirts and ties. On semi-formal night I have a cocktail dress, my husband will wear and long sleeve shirt and ties, my girls both have dresses, and my sons will wear long sleeve shirts with no tie. I have color coordinated the outfits for both nights- plus one another night- so we can get some nice family photos.

I am tired and just got back from Vegas today. I was there for a week for a differentiated instruction conference, which was very good. I have four more days of summer school, and then I will be in total vacation planning mode.

Welcome to all our new friends! It is was going to be a fantasy cruise for sure.

20 Days left! Cannot wait to see you all on the Fantasy.


Dbarbosa: The teens' experiences will be amazing. After cruising as a teen 3 times, this is DD (17) last opportunity to enjoy the Vibe experience, and it is a little bittersweet for her. She has had the time of her life each time.

goofygwt: We see very little of our DD. We establish rules before we board: curfew, no other teens in the stateroom, and dinner is non-negoatable (she has to have dinner with us). Also, the wave phone is a great way to keep in touch with your teen.

Sarah in fact moved to an earlier cruise so I've just emailed out the final numbers!!

Thank you! We have a few days in Orlando and then fly over to the west coast, San Francisco and Disneyland! I've always wanted to go to San Francisco so I can't wait!!!!!!!!!! A few more hours of work and then serious packing time - it's all washed, ironed and ready and I have "A List" so that shouldn't take long...
