I have started a Facebook group so we can all get to know each other a little before boarding! This will be our first time on the Fantasy, and I was wondering if any of you have heard of or been on any great excursions at any of the ports. This is our 5th Disney cruise, so we have done plenty of dolphin, pirate, and beach resort type excursions.

Hello everyone, sorry I have been away for so long. I have been running around getting ready for the cruise. I still have a few things to do, but for the most part I m finally to the relaxing point. I just can't wait... DH is getting super excited, he keeps a better count down than I do. We still have to tweak the excursions, we have some booked, and have the Palo dinner reserved, but we really need to sit down and decide if the ones we have booked are the things we really want to do....Decisions, decisions.

I have a question for all of the veteran cruisers, If we arrive at port say around 1pm and our boarding time isn't until 2:30 will we be allowed to board early?

Just registered - long time lurker and DCL veteran cruiser. Had to respond to this post. Have no fear, I've been on both the Dream and Fantasy and there are still things I have not done/seen on the boat. You will have a blast. Look through the schedule and there are plenty of activities for you and your kids.

The schedules are placed in your stateroom each night and you will see what events take place on the ship. It's nice that you can just stay indoors if you want, or head up to the open air/pools. There are soo many events to attend - you will NOT be bored.

When you are sundrenched, head to some of the indoor events. The night clubs indoors are open during the day for family oriented activities - very well structured and organized. Also, be sure check out Bingo for a pretty fun time as well.

My mom is coming as a single parent too! She is probably feeling the same way you are. I know that everyone is going to have fun no matter what. My mom is coming with just my sister and I, and she doesn't know anyone else going. Maybe you two should talk and you can at least say you know one person?
