This coming week will be the first week since Christmas (when we gave the kids the news that we were cruising) that I don't have a million and one things to do! So...... I think I am going to make my Fish Extentder!

My DS went to a Harry Potter party this weekend and I made he and a bud a Griffindor scarf. It was kind of a last minute thing and they turned out awesome.

So, I kind of have the "crafty" bug right now. This is a great time to sit down and do a little something for me!

When I first booked the cruise it seemed like it was FOREVER away. But here we are at the end of January already. Time is zoooooommmmminng by. The summer will be here before you know it and with it the Fantasy!

Can't wait!

I just thought that I'd check in and say "hey"!

We are freezing here this week! No snow, no sledding, just cold. I'm definitely Disney Dreaming about sunshine, beaches and hanging out on our verandah!

This school year is going by sooooo fast! I know that summer time and the cruise will be here before you know it! In the meantime, we are heading up to the Mount Bachelor to do some skiing and tubing. (I guess we have to travel to find snow this year). I am looking forward to a fun week with my kiddos, husband, brother, niece, nephew and hopefully my mom!

Right now we are just spending a lot of time chasing kids! Both DD and DS are playing basketball. DD plays Tuesdays and Fridays and DS Mondays and Thursdays. We are spending four nights a week (plus a couple of Saturday tournaments) in the gym! Although I'm enjoying the season, I am looking forward to having everyone home more.

Both kids just took the ACT's yesterday. They sound a lot like A2 exams. I hope that everyone did well! My kids' brains are fried! We are going to chill out today and take a much needed break!

Sounds like you and your family are in for some much needed fun

We have just seen off the last of the snow we received last week, we don't get snow often but when it comes it causes havoc for a few days then disappears.

This week we have a break from school for half term and so we have been taking it easy. Makes a change from working and running around taking the kids to swimming/beaver scouts/guides/drama etc...

We have headed out to see my dad for a belated birthday visit and spent some time with both my parents, taken a Trip to the library for a James and the Giant Peach activity session, and today I started painting my sons bedroom which will be finished tomorrow

On top of all that we are all with a cold and cough, hope to shake it off soon.

I'm glad you are getting a break! I am looking forward to our spring break in a few weeks. We are in search of snow! We are heading up to Washington's Mount Bachelor for some much needed skiing, sledding, tubing and family time! We've only skiied in Colorado, so this will be kind of neat!

It sounds like you have had some fun with family and kiddos! YAY!

We are getting ready for senior night for basketball tonight. I can't believe that we are on the tail end of the season. It really puts it in perspective how fast time is going. I swear the kids just started practicing yesterday......

We have a fabulous group of senior girls. We will miss them soooo much next year! This should be a fun night though.

Still Fantasy dreaming! We just got our boots and fins for diving this week. CAN'T WAIT!

Yay! we are on the MV....and we have been tracking Fantasy's journey. She has sailed past the south coast of England today...My daughter wanted to go see if she could see her lol, we wouldn't have seen her!

So excited about the MV, and we are sailing on her the following week too, hopefully all the madness will have calmed down by then. but also looking forward to the summer cruise on her too

We are aboard. There will be 7 of us on this cruise: DH, DD (17), my parents, my sister and her DH. This will be our 7th Disney cruise; we are sailing our way to Platinum! We are staying in a deluxe inside stateroom with the virtual pothole. My DH and I had several discussions on which stateroom we should get. We finally decided to try something new. We have not done an inside since our 3-Day on the Wonder. We are hoping this works out for us.

We just purchased our plane tickets. We are taking the redeye on Thursday, and on Friday we are visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Island Adventure. We will be staying at the Hyatt at MCO. My family and I like staying there. It is perfect after a long flight, as well as very convenient.

We are working on paying off this trip before April 21st so we can take advantage of getting early ressies for Palo, Remy, and those fabulous spa treatments that are truly magical.

We will be participating in the FE. We love it! Our FE hangs in our entryway. We store our keys and sunglasses in its pockets. It is a great reminder of our fabulous cruises.

This cruise is extra special because: 1) We are sailing on the Fantasy; 2) All 7 of us are sailing together, which has not happened since 2010; 3) this is my DD last cruise as a teenager, and finally since we will be paying for college tuition soon, this will most likely be our last cruise for sometime.

So happy to have you! It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time with your family! I'm glad that your able to go on last cruise with your DD. Mine is 16 and I can't believe how fast time is flying by! Enjoy every minute!

I also looks like we have a nice group of teenagers around the same age. My DD has many friends that she still talks to from previous cruises. In fact we are going to Vegas in a few weeks, and she is meeting up with some cruise friends. Those teenagers have such an amazing time on DCL.

Last night we watched YouTube videos from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I cannot wait. It looks insane. We are BIG HP fans! We watched the HP marathon on ABC Family this weekend. If you have been to WWHP, your thoughts and tips would greatly be appreciated.

Hey folks! This is the DS(19) of Ramule aka Matt!

Icesk8ersmom- WWHP is absolutely epic! My family and I went about two years ago and it was an unforgettable experience. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter as well! In fact, I am the seeker for The Ohio State University Quidditch Team! hahaha As for thoughts/tips, I don't know how croweded it will be in relation to how it was two years ago, but going to the park early and heading straight to HP world worked best for us. We were able to get through the all the rides in about 3-4 hours which was very surprising. I recommend riding first and visiting all the stores second. There are lines to get into stores because it gets very congested back there. If anyone in the family is claustrophobic, best to work on solving that problem now! Other then that, the architecture and scenery are just amazing and a true harry potter fan can appreciate the perfect details! As for food, butterbeer, pumpkin juice, cauldron cakes, and chocolate frogs are absolute musts! Hope the trip goes well and if you have any further questions, just ask!

Anyone other teens/college students on the cruise wanna chat, hit me up!

That's great that your DD has had a great time with the teens. My DD is very skeptical and doesn't think she'll like the club. My DS would probably like it but I am a little worried about him feeling like he's with a bunch of little kids since he will be on the older end of things.

It doesn't matter to me either way. I know that the kids will have a great time no matter what they choose. My DH and I are hoping to go to Palo one night and I would feel better knowing that the kids were having a great time at the clubs!
